Jake Paul’s rise in the world of sports continues to take shape, as the YouTuber-turned-boxer has announced $50 million in funding for a new company known as ‘Betr’.

Touted as the first direct-to-consumer micro-betting focused sports betting platform, Betr will launch as a media company and wagering operator. Jake Paul is serving as Founder and President in partnership with Founder and CEO Joey Levy.

With a new weekly sports show titled ‘BS With Jake Paul’ and a fresh sports betting app that puts micro-betting at the core of the product, Betr is expected to provide a unique experience for all sports bettors whenever they launch.

Jake Paul & Partner Announce $50 Million in Funding for Betr

Jake Paul is teaming up with sports betting entrepreneur Joey Levy to launch the Betr sports betting and media company. Levy is best known as the founder of Simplebet, a B2B sports betting technology company that focuses on simplifying the live betting experience.

As he explains in a post introducing Betr, Levy is expanding his focus on in-play wagering with this brand new platform. The co-founders have raised $50 million in funds for Betr from a wide variety of investors.

Betr Sports Betting and Media Company Details

In a video explaining he recently turned down a separate $40 million offer, Jake Paul explained Betr will have two components – a media side and a sports betting side.

The Betr sports media side will debut with the ‘BS With Jake Paul’ weekly sports show. Meanwhile, the Betr sports betting app will focus solely on micro-betting, a type of wagering that only deals with play-by-play events as opposed to outcome wagering.

Market Access Secured in Several States Ahead of Future Launch

Betr will initially launch as a free-to-play game and will work towards launching as a micro-betting platform in individual states.

While details are currently few and far between on an official launch for the Betr sports betting app, there’s clearly a ton of energy behind this brand new product.
