New York Online Sports Betting May See Another Record Set in November

New York’s massive online sports betting run for the football season continued as the state gaming commission yet again reported huge numbers last week.

The New York State Gaming Commission reported $527.1 million in online sports betting handle for the week ending Nov. 10, as well as $55.1 million in gross gaming revenue.

Two weeks into the November sports betting calendar and New York has reported online sports betting handles totaling more than $500 million per week, putting it on pace to top last month’s record setting handle total.

November Trending as a Record Setting Month

So far in November, New York bettors have wagered more than $1.085 billion in online sports betting handle. Customers set a monthly handle record in October, betting more than $2.3 billion for the entire month. With nearly three weeks left unreported in November, the state may see another record breaking month of betting activity.

The New York State Gaming Commission releases handle and revenue reports for its nine live NY sports betting apps, Caesars Sportsbook, DraftKings Sportsbook, FanDuel, BetMGM, Fanatics Sportsbook, Bally Bet, Resorts World Bet, ESPN BET, and BetRivers, at the conclusion of each week.

The commission reported $527,150,681 in handle and $55,196,191 in gross gaming revenue for the week ending Nov. 10.

Here are the handle breakdowns for the nine sportsbooks for the week ending Nov. 10.

Here are the total handles for the nine sportsbooks since New York’s Jan. 8, 2022 launch. FanDuel is the only operator in the state to eclipse $21 billion in total handle so far.

NY Sports Betting Revenues

For the week of Nov. 10, the nine sportsbooks reported a total of $55,196,191 in gross gaming revenue. At New York’s 51% online sports betting tax rate, this resulted in $28,150,057 million in tax revenue.
