These two were initially lined up to fight in late October 2019 until Parker fell ill and was removed from the bout. This long awaited prizefight now finally comes to fruition.

Dereck Chisora’s Road Back to WBO Gold

Having been a reigning champion not too long ago, Chisora dropped his WBO intercontinental belt in his last outing. Chisora’s last contest snapped a three-fight winning streak that he had been riding.

Following that unanimous decision defeat to Oleksandr Usyk, Dereck Chisora looks to return to the win column and the form that saw him put together back to back stoppages prior to the loss last Halloween.

Dereck Chisora is still within the WBO rankings system and could be vaulted back up in the standings with an emphatic win in the coming days. Chisora has a lengthy highlight reel of fearsome knockouts to his credit, so he is to never be counted out.

Joseph Parker’s Quest for a 2nd WBO World Title

Joseph Parker is currently the #3 ranked WBO contender and is a former multi-time defending WBO world champion.

Parker’s last bout saw him earn a victory over long-time rival from the amateur ranks Junior Fa. Joseph handed Fa his first defeat as a professional during their throwdown in February.

Chisora has showcased a level of durability within the metric of only being fished three times across his ten career defeats.

Parker has a more than respectable 75 percent knockout rate though, and it’s certainly not totally out of the realm of possibility for him to earn stoppage number twenty-two this weekend.

Despite the capable punching power of both warriors, I’m a little bullish about going with any particular prop bets surrounding stoppage-based outcomes.

This contest is scheduled for twelve rounds, and I can see this one encroaching into that final bell. The prop bet on this contest going the distance is at -139 odds, and I think there is good value to be found there.

Joseph Parker by points after twelve rounds is valued at +160, and in my estimation is another prop bet that makes sense.

In the end, I think the latter beats the former when Chisora vs Parker goes down.

Pick: Joseph Parker (-190)
