Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul are purportedly thinking about stepping into a boxing ring. Mayweather vs Paul would be an appropriately weird fight for the perpetually strange year that is 2020. But many questions still abound.
Initial rumblings indicate that this bizarre exchange of fisticuffs would likely take place before 2020 ends, if it goes down at all.
This has the honorable distinction of being the second-most ridiculous fight idea for Logan Paul that has been put out there into the world.

The initial reports through TMZ indicate that Mayweather has been approached about the circus attraction-style fight but neither party has signed on any kind of dotted line as of yet. Per those same reports, it seems like Mayweather is more leaning towards saying no to this proposed prizefight.

Paul went to a draw with fellow Youtuber KSI in an amateur boxing bout. He then lost a decision to KSI in a pro contest and has yet to compete since then.
Since his pair of fights with KSI, Paul has entertained several ideas including some curious fights that involve athletes from other sports.
Logan Paul, who wrestled throughout high school, is looking to be as multifaceted as possible. This makes sense with the backdrop of Paul having a future goal mapped out for taking an MMA fight.

Mayweather’s last professional fight saw him best Conor McGregor to extend his pro record to 50-0. Mayweather is certainly no stranger to taking exhibition bouts since that McGregor fight.
