  • Three late-night Week 4 college football games, all kicking at 10:30 p.m. ET or later
  • An unbeaten Washington team, a home underdog in the ACC and a Mountain West grinder off a bye
  • Read below for my Saturday late-night college football picks and the exact Week 4 numbers

Week 4 of the 2026 college football season saves three games for after most of the country has gone to bed. The late slate gives us a Mountain West matchup, an ACC game on the West Coast and a Big Ten game in Seattle.

Washington is 3-0 and sitting just outside the Top 25. Air Force is 1-1 and coming off a bye week, Nevada is 1-2 after a turnover-heavy loss, and Stanford is at home trying to hold serve against Georgia Tech.

I care more about turnovers, how teams actually run their offense and home-field history than about headline records. Below are the latest college football odds and my three picks against the spread.

Nevada vs Air Force | Stanford vs Georgia Tech | Washington vs Minnesota

Pick #1: Nevada +5.5 vs Air Force

Air Force is 1-1 and has not played since September 12, when it lost 38-32 to North Dakota State and then went into a bye. Two weeks off should help the Falcons get healthy, but it also means nobody has seen them since that loss.

Liam Szarka carried 21 times for 88 yards and a touchdown in that game, while going 5 of 10 for 103 yards with an interception through the air. Air Force averages 35:52 in time of possession to Nevada’s 26:45, so the Falcons should again control the clock. They still gave up 38 points in their last outing.

Nevada is 1-2 after a 27-20 loss at Middle Tennessee on September 19 in which it turned the ball over three times. Clean up a couple of those and that is a different result. Dominic Kelley has 281 rushing yards at 6.85 yards per carry through three games, so the Wolf Pack can move the ball when they hold onto it.

Nevada will not get many extra possessions against that time of possession edge, and it does not need them. Getting 5.5 points at home against a team coming off a 38-point defensive showing is enough for me. Kickoff is 10:30 p.m. ET on FS1.

Pick #2: Stanford +3.5 vs Georgia Tech

This ACC game starts at 10:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. Stanford is the home underdog getting the hook at 3.5 points.

The Cardinal have committed just one turnover all season and sit at a plus-two margin, and Davis Warren has thrown 107 passes without an interception. A team that does not give the ball away tends to keep games close.

The other useful number is that Stanford is 6-3 in its last nine home games outright. That is straight-up, not against the spread, and the two are different things. It still says something about a program that shows up at home, and here they are getting points on top of it.

A field goal plus the hook is a lot to lay on the road against a team this careful with the ball. If you are opening an account for this one, check the current BetMGM promo code first.

Pick #3: Washington -10 vs Minnesota

Washington is 3-0, Minnesota is 2-1, and this one kicks at 11 p.m. ET on FOX. Double digits is a real number, so this is not a case of simply taking the better team.

Minnesota has not dropped the run, but it is leaning on it far less than it used to. The Gophers’ rush share is 41.9% this season against 62.3% from 2017 through 2023. Drake Lindsey is averaging 34.3 pass attempts per game and has been sharp when it matters, going 19 of 26 on third and fourth down for 73.1%.

Washington throws it just as much at 36.3 attempts per game, so neither team is being forced out of character here. The difference is the venue. The Huskies are 14-2 at home since 2024 and 12-0 at home against unranked opponents, and they carry a plus-six turnover margin into this one.

Demond Williams Jr. has added 150 rushing yards, which gives Washington a second way to finish drives when a play breaks down. Minnesota is good enough to hang around for a half, so I am not calling this a comfortable cover, but I will lay the 10 with the Huskies at home.
