- Saturday’s Week 9 slate offers strong values in the college football player props market
- I am targeting passing volume and ground-game usage across three noon ET kickoffs
- Read below for my top Saturday college football player props and Week 9 best bets
My Saturday college football player props focus on three players with clear paths to clearing their numbers. CJ Carr has reached three passing touchdowns four times this season, Noah Fifita averages nearly 295 passing yards, and Abu Sama III is coming off a 71-yard rushing performance against USC.
In the Big Ten, Wisconsin travels to Kinnick Stadium to face Iowa in a game expected to be a physical battle. Notre Dame and Navy meet for the 99th time at Gillette Stadium in a neutral-site clash, while Arizona visits Texas Tech in Lubbock. All three games kick off at noon ET.
Below, I break down my Saturday college football player props and Week 9 best bets.

Odds verified on October 30 at 2:35 p.m. ET and subject to change.
All three picks are priced at theScore Bet, one of the top College Football betting apps, and carry implied probabilities between 52.4% and 55.6%. Fifita’s over at -110 is the cheapest number on the card, while Sama’s rushing over carries the heaviest price at -125.
Best Week 9 College Football Player Prop Bets
These Week 9 college football player props lean on current-season production and the roles each player holds in his offense.
CFB Prop Pick #1: CJ Carr Over 2.5 Passing TDs
- Pick: CJ Carr Over 2.5 Passing TDs (-120 at theScore Bet)
My CJ Carr passing touchdowns prediction starts with a Fighting Irish offense averaging 41.1 points per game into this neutral-site showdown at Gillette Stadium. Carr, a Heisman Trophy odds candidate, has completed 129 of 193 passes for 1,639 yards with 16 touchdowns and just one interception.
Notre Dame also protects the football, committing only two offensive turnovers while allowing just 0.3 sacks per game. On the other side, the defense has forced 16 takeaways, which should hand Carr short fields and extra scoring chances against Navy.
Carr has thrown at least three touchdowns against Rice, at Purdue, at North Carolina and against Stanford this season. With a clean pocket and an offense that rarely gives the ball away, I expect him to toss at least three touchdowns again.
CFB Prop Pick #2: Noah Fifita Over 258.5 Passing Yards
- Pick: Noah Fifita Over 258.5 Passing Yards (-110 at theScore Bet)
My Noah Fifita passing yards prediction builds on an Arizona offense scoring 36.14 points per game heading into Lubbock. The Wildcats average 310.9 passing yards per game as a team, and Fifita accounts for the bulk of that at 294.9 passing yards per game.
That season average sits 36.4 yards above this 258.5 number, giving the over a healthy cushion. Arizona’s scoring output points to plenty of possessions and passing volume in a matchup that promises offensive fireworks.
Early-down passing success will likely dictate how this game plays out. At -110, the over on Fifita’s yardage is the best-priced play on my card and an extremely appealing college football prop bet in Lubbock. New users can sign up with theScore Bet promo code and get a bonus to use in Week 9.
CFB Prop Pick #3: Abu Sama III Over 49.5 Rushing Yards
- Pick: Abu Sama III Over 49.5 Rushing Yards (-125 at theScore Bet)
My Abu Sama III rushing yards prediction follows the approach Wisconsin used last week in a 24-7 win over No. 16 USC, logging 43 team rushing attempts. Sama ran for 71 yards in that game, comfortably clearing this number.
On the season, Sama has 295 yards on 51 carries across five games, good for 5.8 yards per carry and 59 yards per game. Quarterback Colton Joseph also adds 365 rushing yards in seven games, but Sama’s per-game average still clears 49.5 by nearly 10 yards.
Iowa is without Kamari Moulton, but three other Hawkeyes have posted 100-yard rushing games, so I expect both sides to lean on the run in a physical Big Ten battle. In that game script, keeping the chains moving on the ground will be Wisconsin’s priority, and I like Sama to clear 49.5.
