  • WWE WrestleMania will take place at MetLife Stadium in Newark, NJ on April 7th
  • Ronda Rousey is set to defend her Raw Women’s Championship in the main event
  • What else is set to go down on the grandest stage of them all?

With WWE WrestleMania 35 mere weeks away, fans are already buzzing about what has been confirmed for the card so far as well as everything else expected to transpire.

Although WWE has yet to officially reveal what match will main event the pay-per-view, all signs point to it being the Raw Women’s Championship Triple Threat between Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair.

The three-way storyline with the women has taken many twists and turns since Lynch originally won the Royal Rumble back in January to earn the opportunity to face Rousey. In the past two months, Lynch has taken shots at Rousey and her husband on Twitter, Rousey has claimed she doesn’t need her job with WWE, and Rousey has gone so far as to attack officials (which recently resulted in a hefty fine for her).

Roman Reigns’ match has not yet been made official, but Drew McIntyre has been teased as a potential opponent for him.

In addition to all the madness surrounding the Raw Women’s title, it has been announced that Alexa Bliss will be serving as the host of the anticipated event. Furthermore, Roman Reigns’ match has not yet been made official, but Drew McIntyre has been teased as a potential opponent for him.

Ahead of WrestleMania 35 on April 7th, let’s look at some unique odds for the spring spectacle and attempt to predict what else WWE might have in store for the show.

Will Another Wrestler Insult Ronda Rousey’s Husband?

Yes 3/2
No 2/3

Lynch has had a knack lately for running down Rousey at every turn, especially on Twitter. One of her best shots at The Rowdy One came a few weeks back when she poked fun at her husband, Travis Browne, which only further infuriated Rousey.

At this point, it doesn’t look like anyone is willing to mess with Rousey the same way Lynch has. Even The Irish Lasskicker has watched what she’s said to Rousey since her meltdown earlier this month, so the odds of anyone else following in Lynch’s footsteps by daring to mention her husband are slim to none.

Who Will Leave WrestleMania 35 as Raw Women’s Champion?

Who Will Win the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 35? SBD Odds
Becky Lynch 13/7
Charlotte Flair 2/1
Ronda Rousey 17/8

The Raw Women’s Championship feud has heated up in a major way over the past month with Rousey, Lynch, and Flair all staking their claim at the title. There’s no telling who will walk out of WrestleMania with the gold in their grasp, but as of now, Lynch should be considered the front-runner to go over.

It’s safe to say that Lynch is at the peak of her popularity at the moment, meaning it’d be a mind-boggling decision for her to lose on the grand stage. Rousey would be the next best guess to win, but even that’d be a bit far-fetched with it being rumored that she’ll be taking a leave of absence coming out of the event.

Either way, Flair is primed to take the losing fall in that match.

No 9/11

Aside from her upcoming title defense at WrestleMania, Rousey has been a hot topic of conversation among fans since January with there being speculation that she may be on her way out of the organization immediately following the pay-per-view.

WWE has denied the reports by saying she signed a multi-year deal in 2018 and that she’ll be under contract to the company for the foreseeable future. That said, she isn’t advertised for any events past ‘Mania, so it is entirely possible she’ll be taking time off without actually quitting.

The Rowdy One has claimed in character that she doesn’t need the job, but clearly, that was done by design to add more heat to her WrestleMania match. Expect Rousey to stick around in WWE regardless of whether she drops the title at the Show of Shows.

Rousey made headlines last week for attacking an official on an episode of Raw. In the storyline, she was fined an obscene amount of money but is still scheduled to compete at WrestleMania against Lynch and Flair.

No one has been safe from Rousey’s recent rampages. Dana Brooke has felt her wrath on multiple occasions, and as previously noted, Lynch received quite the beating from the Raw Women’s champion as well.

It’s obvious Rousey couldn’t care less about who stands in her way and is willing to do anything to get everyone’s attention. That referee is merely the first of many on Rousey’s long list of victims.

Will Alexa Bliss Call Out Ronda Rousey For Her Rant?

Yes 13/7
No 7/13

Alexa Bliss being announced as the host of WrestleMania 35 should hardly come as a surprise given how she has spent more time behind the mic than in the ring in 2019. What makes her role as the host especially interesting is how she may factor into the Raw Women’s Championship match seeing as how she has history with Rousey from last summer.

Bliss has made her disdain for Rousey abundantly clear in the past, so there’s a chance she could acknowledge Rousey’s recent rant on Raw in the coming weeks on WWE TV. Rousey has gone so far as to break the fourth wall and disparage the company, and with her controversial actions likely to continue going forward, Bliss could be looking to make a return to the ring.

Similar to The New Day, however, Bliss is better off remaining a host at WrestleMania and not lacing up the boots until after her hosting duties have been fulfilled.

Will Batista Challenge Stephen Amell to Match?

Will Batista Challenge Stephen Amell? SBD Odds
Yes 3/1
No 1/3

Triple H isn’t the only one adversary Batista has heading into WrestleMania. Arrow star Stephen Amell jokingly tweeted about how Triple H’s ‘Mania match with the “Hollywood celebrity” shouldn’t take up too much time on the show, which led to a response from Batista talking up his wrestling credentials as a former six-time world champion.

Amell said what he did in jest, so there is no bad blood between the two. If anything, WWE would book the bout to create buzz and get fans talking, but with Batista having announced his impending retirement, that isn’t even a remote possibility.

Perhaps we’ll see them collide on the silver screen one day, but as far as the WWE ring goes, fans can keep dreaming about Batista vs Amell, because it’s about as probable as CM Punk making a WWE-sanctioned appearance any time soon.
