It’s been over month since we last updated you on the English Premier League title odds, and quite a lot has happened since. After 20 rounds, Liverpool have established themselves as Chelsea’s biggest threat for the title, Arsenal suffered a blow to their chances after a few disappointing results, and Tottenham are slowly making their way up in the standings after five straight wins.

The next few weeks include some very decisive games and after that we’ll have a much clearer picture of where each team stands.

Odds To Win The 2016-17 EPL Title:

Chelsea (16-1-3, 49 points): 1/1

Tottenham may have ended Chelsea’s 13-game win streak in the last round, but they didn’t do much to diminish their title chances. As they’ve been for most of the season, the Blues remain the heavy favorites to take the title.

They currently have a five-point lead over the rest of the league, which is less than when we last updated the odds. But out of the top contenders Chelsea is the only team that’s been consistent throughout the season.

They have two easy games ahead of them, but after that, they take on second-place Liverpool.

Liverpool (13-5-2, 44 points): 9/2

You never really know what you’re going to get with Liverpool this season. They’ve come out and beaten teams like Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal, but they’ve also lost to Bournemouth and Burnley.

The real test comes in two week’s time when they face table leader Chelsea. If the Reds can tighten up in defense and stop dropping easy points, they have a real shot at the title.

Manchester City (13-3-4, 42 points): 7/1

Manchester City are now in fourth after their recent 1-0 loss to Liverpool. Manager Pep Guardiola is still tinkering with the team’s lineup and formation, desperately trying to find something that works.

He doesn’t have much time though. City have two big games against Everton and Tottenham in the weeks ahead and they can’t afford to lose anymore games against the big teams.

Tottenham (12-6-2, 42 points): 11/1

Tottenham just beat Chelsea in the last round, extending their winning streak to five. The Spurs outplayed the Blues, and truly showed what they are capable of. They have bounced back from their early-season slump and they’re now looking to keep their streak going.

The Spurs are currently seven points beneath the leaders, but if they can keep up their current form, they have a real shot at the title.

Arsenal (12-5-3, 41 points): 12/1

A draw to Bournemouth and back-to-back losses against Everton and Manchester City saw the Gunners drop to fifth in the standings. Arsenal are struggling for form right now and to make things worse, they risk losing star striker Alexis Sanchez during the transfer window.

While the other top teams have some pretty tough games ahead of them, the next three weeks for Arsenal are all against lesser-ranked teams. If they can take the full three points in each round, their standing should improve.
