3M Open Picks, Predictions & Odds For 2026

After Ryan Fox shocked the field with an incredible weekend to take the Open Championship, the PGA Tour returns stateside for the 3M Open. I had Sam Burns to win that event for SBD, but he was oh-so-close, a runner-up. I’m tackling this event that has historically struggled to post a great rolodex of players competing, but it’s receiving a massive boon with world #1 Scottie Scheffler teeing it up.

As of now, Fox is also slated to compete, though it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him withdraw following him raising the Claret Jug at Royal Birkdale. Scheffler is coming off a tie for fourth at the Open, and he’s the overwhelming favorite to win for the second time on the campaign. TPC Twin Cities is the host for the tourney, and 15-under-par or better has been shot by all seven champions at this event’s history. Defending champion is Kurt Kitayama.

I’m starting my card this week with Jackson Suber, who has had a strong three months that have inched him closer to breaking through on the main circuit for the first time. He recently was the first round leader at the Open Championship and was in contention entering the weekend, where he eventually found himself with a top-30.

Suber also has had several other strong tournaments, namely a pair of fourths at the RBC Canadian Open and CJ Cup Byron Nelson, and a sixth at the John Deere Classic. You can snag him at +3800 on DraftKings, which is odds longer than the top-ten golfers on the board, so there’s still considerable value on him.

3M Open 2026 Picks & Value Bets

• Max Homa +4600 at DraftKings: 6-time PGA Tour winner Max Homa nearly made it seven three tourneys ago, as he was runner-up at TPC Deere Run. He’s chased that with a couple other solid starts, namely a top-30 at the Open Championship. Homa was T-3rd at the 2020 iteration of the 3M Open, so he’s had some positive course history to draw upon.
• Lee Hodges +9800 at DraftKings: Lee Hodges very nearly picked off his second career PGA Tour title two starts ago at the John Deere Classic, where he eventually finished T-3rd, two shots out of a playoff. That first victory I eluded to came at this very tournament in 2023, where he blitzed the field by seven strokes, making him intriguing at this price.
• Lucas Glover +13000 at DraftKings: I’m prepared to get hurt again by Lucas Glover. He’s held the 54 hole lead in his last two tournaments, only to come up agonizingly short, with a T-3rd at the John Deere Classic and T-5th at the ISCO Championship. Considering how close he’s come to closing out another W, I feel these odds are incredibly juicy.
• Matt Kuchar +15000 at DraftKings: Much like how Ryan Fox went off as a +15000 longshot to win the Open, I’m searching for another wild card. Veteran Matt Kuchar has quietly put together four top-25s in the last five times teeing it up. He’s also had success at TPC Twin Cities, with a tie for third in 2024. While winning might be a stretch, he’ll be interesting to monitor in the top 10/20 markets.
