The Yankees World Series odds above have taken a beating. New York was trading at 12% to win it all on Kalshi before Judge got hurt. That price dropped to 9% as soon as the injury news hit, and it’s now down to 8%.

An 8¢ price works out to roughly +1150 in American odds before fees. The AL Championship market took a hit too, with the Yankees sliding from 25% to 20%.

Traditional books have made a similar move. New York is +850 at DraftKings in the latest World Series odds, fourth behind the Dodgers, Brewers and Rays. That means Kalshi is actually offering the longer price on the Pinstripes right now.

Judge felt something in his right leg after the first inning against the Twins on September 16. He played through it until Boone pulled him for a pinch hitter in the sixth.

An MRI in Phoenix revealed a right calf strain, and the Yankees placed him on the 10-day IL retroactive to Thursday. Boone described it as a moderate strain. Judge also received a platelet-poor plasma injection during Monday’s off day.
