UFC 246 fight week is here and the anticipation will only grow when Conor McGregor and Donald Cerrone share the stage in their first and only press conference before the fight this Wednesday at 8:00 pm EST.

When McGregor fights the UFC has done several press conferences in the lead-up but this fight was different. But, sportsbooks still released several prop bets for fans to bet on.

How Late Will McGregor Be?

Over/Under Odds
Over 6.5 minutes +130
Under 6.5 minutes -170

All Odds taken Jan. 14

Conor McGregor is known for being late to press conferences even when it is fight week. During the UFC 205 press conference on the week of the fight, he was 13 and a half minutes late which made Alvarez leave the press conference until the Irishman showed up.

At UFC 229, one of the press conferences he was on time but the one during fight week he was 25 and a half minutes late, which like Alvarez, made Khabib Nurmagomedov leave. Against Nate Diaz, at UFC 202 the total press conference was 21 minutes and he showed up just after 16 minutes, which he blamed on Vegas traffic.

There is no question he is normally late but he is on time in a fair share. So, with this being the only press conference and him having respect for Donald Cerrone he will be on time to get the most amount of time to sell the fight, which for some is lacking hype.

Pick: Under (-170)

Odds How Many F-Bombs Conor McGregor Will Say

Over/Under Odds
Over 6.5 -120
Under 6.5 -120

Just like being late, Conor McGregor loves to swear at press conferences.

In the press conference with Nurmagomedov in September, he dropped the f-bomb six times in the first question and then went over 6.5 in the third question asked even when it was asked to the Russian.

In the press conference during fight week against Alvarez, he dropped the f-bomb seven times just six minutes in and the same goes for the Nate Diaz press conference where he dropped several f-bombs. He is known to swear and does so to add to his point. Most questions are also directed to him so he should have lots of time to drop some f-bombs here. So, the pick has to be “Over”.

Pick: Over (-120)

Will Either Fighter Say Khabib’s Name?

I think this prop is a guaranteed yes.

YouTube video

In every interview since losing to Khabib Nurmagomedov, Conor McGregor has made it known he wants the rematch against the undefeated Russian and I don’t expect anything else to happen. I believe a fan or media member will ask him about Khabib which will make him bring up his name.

Or, perhaps, Cerrone will say he wants a shot at Khabib with a win. Regardless, I really like the yes prop on this one and to get it at plus money is a steal.

Pick: Yes (+150)

Will McGregor Predict a KO Finish?

Just like the last one, to get this prop at plus-money is providing fantastic value.

At press conferences, Conor McGregor has been known as “Mystic Mac” as he makes predictions and even said in an interview with ESPN that he will knock out Donald Cerrone. So, I suspect a fan will ask for a prediction and he will say he will knockout “Cowboy” inside two rounds.

Pick: Yes (+200)
