We’re less than 24 hours from UFC 328, and the lines have shifted across the board. Two title fights, a stacked main card, and a handful of interesting prelim matchups have kept the sportsbooks busy all week.

Money has come in on Strickland against Chimaev in the main event, but the bigger moves are happening further down the card.

Here’s where the money has moved since the UFC 328 odds opened earlier this week, and what it means heading into tomorrow’s card.

Updated UFC 328 Odds

The UFC 328 odds have shifted across the board since Monday. In the main event, Chimaev moved from -550 to -520 while Strickland went from +410 to +390. Some money has come in on the former champ, which makes sense given his cardio advantage in a five-round fight.

The real movement has been on the undercard, though. Multiple lines shifted 30 points or more since Monday, and a couple of those swings change how you should be betting tomorrow. I break down the most notable UFC 328 line movement below.

Notable UFC 328 Line Movement

Van Getting Sharp Money

The biggest move on the main card is Joshua Van, who went from +145 to +130 in the flyweight title fight. That’s meaningful movement on a champion who was already getting disrespected by the line. Taira dropped from -175 to -155 on the other side.

Sharp money is clearly coming in on the champ. Van’s volume and pace are real problems for Taira in a five-round fight, and the market is starting to agree. If you liked Van earlier this week, the value has shrunk, but it’s still plus money on a defending champion.

Volkov Line Crumbling

Volkov dropped from -175 to -142, which is a big move for a heavyweight fight. Cortes-Acosta went from +145 to +120. The public is buying Waldo’s three-fight knockout streak, and his price is getting shorter by the hour.

This is one of those spots where the line movement actually creates value. Volkov at -142 is much more playable than -175, and nothing has changed about the matchup. He’s still 6’7″ with a three-inch height edge and two extra inches of reach. If you trust the veteran to control distance with his jab, the price just got better.

Green Getting Hammered

King Green went from -345 to -440. That’s a massive move, and it tells you the market has zero confidence in Stephens. The 40-year-old has one win in his last 10 fights, and the money is pouring in on Green accordingly.

At -440, the moneyline is way too juiced to lay straight up. Green is the better fighter everywhere, and he showed he can mix in wrestling against Zellhuber when he needs to. If you want Green exposure, find him in the method of victory market or use him as a parlay leg. The straight moneyline is a pass at this price.

Sabatini Drifting

Sabatini moved from -205 to -166, which is surprising. Gomis went from +170 to +140 on the other side. Money is coming in on the Frenchman, and the line is tightening in a way that should make Sabatini backers a little uncomfortable.

I still like Sabatini’s wrestling to control this fight, but the market is telling you this is closer than the opening number suggested. Gomis has the length and counterstriking to make this awkward if Sabatini can’t get the fight to the mat early. You’re getting a better price on Sabatini at -166 than you would have on Monday, but the movement toward Gomis is a bit of a red flag.

Rebecki Steam

Dawson went from -175 to -155, with Rebecki moving from +145 to +130. The underdog is getting action, which matches what I expected. Dawson’s striking defense has been a liability in recent fights, and the market is reflecting that.

Rebecki is a stocky power puncher who sets a brutal pace, and Dawson tends to spend too long striking before committing to his wrestling. That early window is where Rebecki lives. At +130, the plus money has thinned out a bit, but sharp bettors are clearly comfortable backing Rebecki’s power and pressure at this price.
