The Indiana Pacers (29-36, 18-15 home) are trying to work themselves into the NBA Playoff Bracket. After a successful road trip, they’ll return home and play consecutive nights as they host the Philadelphia 76ers (41-22, 17-12 away).
It’s a team that just happens to be coming off their biggest win of the season, going on the road and putting a halt to Milwaukee’s 16-game winning streak.
The Sixers will be starting the front end of their own back-to-back to wrap up their 5-game road trip.
It all gets underway Monday (March 6) at 7pm ET from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indiana. You can watch the game live on NBA League Pass.
76ers vs Pacers Odds
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Philadelphia 76ers | -7 (-110) | -285 | OFF |
Milwaukee Bucks | +7 (-110) | +240 | OFF |
Tied for the third-most road wins in the East, the NBA odds have the visiting Sixers as 7-point favorites, and -285 on the moneyline.
They may not be whole for this one though: Tobias Harris (calf) and PJ Tucker (back), both left the Milwaukee game with injuries and did not return. They’re listed as questionable Monday.
Indiana sits in 11th in the East, 1.5 games back of the Washington Wizards for the 10th spot and final play-in berth.

Odds as of Mar 5 at DraftKings.
Philadelphia Betting Analysis
Simply put, the 76ers refused to lose against the Bucks.
Down as many as 18 in the second half, Philly put up a season-best 48 points in the fourth quarter, outscoring Milwaukee by 17 in the frame to win 133-130, putting an end to the league’s current longest winning streak.
Joel Embiid went toe-to-toe with Giannis Antetokounmpo in a battle of top contenders in the NBA MVP odds, dropping 31 points, with 10 assists and six rebounds.

Equally devastating was the play of teammate James Harden, who poured in a game-high 38 points, adding 10 dimes and missing a triple-double by a rebound.
It’s the first time two Philly teammates have gone for 30 and 10 assists in the same game since Wilt Chamberlain and Hal Greer did it in 1965.
They’re powering a Sixers’ offense that boasts the 7th-best offensive rating in the NBA, eighth in field goal shooting and third in 3-point shooting at 38.1%. The Sixers also make hay at the stripe, hitting an NBA-best 83.2% of their free throws on 25.3 attempts per game.
Indiana Betting Analysis
After dropping 11 straight road games, the Pacers finished 3-1 on their current trip, culminating with a 125-122 win in Chicago Sunday night.
Tyrese Haliburton was the difference maker again, scoring a game-high 29 points with 11 assists in the win, while also drilling 6-of-9 from three-point range. The last was the winning dagger.

Named to his first all-star team this year, Haliburton averaged 25.3 points and 10.3 assists on 56.8% shooting from the field and 52.6% from three in the road wins, sitting out Indy’s only loss against San Antonio to rest his calf.
Indiana has struggled against the 76ers lately, losing the first two head-to-heads this season, four straight overall and six of the last eight.
The last matchup was a 129-126 OT win for the Sixers. Indy had dropped a 120-106 decision on October 24.

76ers vs Pacers Betting Prediction
Indiana is 7-5 playing the second night of a back-to-back and 6-6 against the spread.
The 76ers are one of the best bets in the NBA with a day of rest, going 24-16 ATS. Oddly enough, though, they are only 8-9 ATS when they own the rest advantage in a matchup.
Philly’s defense could play difference maker here: they are third in scoring D, allowing just 110.7 points per contest. Indiana is down in 24th, allowing nearly 10 points more.
The 76ers have not been a great bet on the road in this head-to-head, going 1-6 ATS in the last seven in Indiana, and despite the wins, the Sixers are just 1-5 ATS vs the Pacers in the last six meetings.
Does the Sixers’ emotional high travel from Milwaukee to Indiana? This has the makings of a trap game. I think Philly wins, but expect Indiana to cover.
Pick:
- Pacers +7 (-110); 1 unit to win 0.91 units
- NBA Betting Record: 30-29-1 ATS, 1-2 ML, 7-0 o/u, 0-3 parlays; -10.47 units
