New York (22-18, 10-10 home) will seek a fifth straight win when they host the Milwaukee Bucks (25-14, 9-9 away). This current streak comes off a 5-game skid, which followed a season-best 8-game fun run.
For Milwaukee, trying to find consistency in a regular-season slog is their goal, after taking a major thumping last time out against the Charlotte Hornets.

Despite the Knicks’ recent surge, the NBA odds, still favor the visitors, who are 2.5-point favorites and a -105 bet on the moneyline.
This will be the third and final meeting between these teams this year, with Milwaukee taking both previous matchups, the most recent a 109-103 win at MSG on November 30.

Since starting out 9-0 on the year, Milwaukee has played at around a .500 level, going 16-14 over the next 30. Last time out, they were routed 138-109 by the Charlotte Hornets — a team with the third-worst record in the NBA.

It was a rough night for Giannis Antetokounmpo, who averages 32 points and 11.8 rebounds per game, both good for third-best in the NBA. He finished with a season-low nine points on just 2-for-7 shooting in 22 minutes. It’s the first time this year Giannis finished in single-digit scoring.

Bobby Portis was one of the few bright spots for Milwaukee, finishing with 16 points and 12 boards, the sixth-straight double-double he’s posted, but it wasn’t enough to stop them from dropping their sixth in nine games.
The Bucks are sitting in 10th in scoring defense, giving up 111.2 points per game, and they’re still a top-4 unit in field goal defense (45.3%) and seventh in three-point D, holding teams to 34.7% from distance.
All-star forward Khris Middleton, who’s only played seven games this year after returning from offseason wrist surgery, won’t be in the lineup Monday as he deals with a knee injury.
New York Betting Analysis
This latest round of Knicks good play has also coincided with the soft part of their schedule.
New York outlasted the Toronto Raptors 112-108 last time out, one game after squeezing a 117-114 win over the Spurs. They also have double-digit wins over the Devin Booker-less Suns and the Houston Rockets during their streak.
Julius Randle was the driving force behind the Knicks getting their first win in Canada since 2015, pouring in 32 points and 11 boards. Mitchell Robinson also had 10 points and 18 rebounds before fouling out. Jalen Brunson added 26 points and eight dimes.

While they are just outside the top 10 in scoring defense, allowing 111.3 points, they are tops at defending the 3-point line, holding teams to 34.1% from beyond the arc, and 45.2% from the field, the 2nd-best mark in the league. During this streak, they’ve held teams to 98.3 points per game.
Wing RJ Barrett (finger) is doubtful against the Bucks. He hasn’t played since getting injured in a Dec 27 game to the Mavericks. He’s missed the last five games.
