  • The Chicago Bulls play for the second night in a row against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday, March 27th
  • Kawhi Leonard suffered a facial contusion in the Clippers last game, but is expected to play
  • Check out the Bulls vs Clippers odds below, plus our best bet and prediction

Another game brought another injury to the Los Angeles Clippers (39-36, 20-18 home), as superstar Kawhi Leonard suffered a facial injury in their 131-110 loss to New Orleans last game. The good news is, all signs point to him being good to go for their contest on Monday, March 27th against the Chicago Bulls (36-38, 16-21 away).

Playing for the 2nd night in a row, at least the Bulls didn’t have to travel overnight, as they defeated the Lakers 118-108 at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday and they’ll try to do the same to the Clips when this game tips off at 10:30 pm ET. You can see this game on NBCS Chicago.

Bulls vs Clippers Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Chicago Bulls +4.5 (-110) +160 O 221 (-110)
Los Angeles Clippers -4.5 (-110) -190 U 221 (-110)

Although they haven’t been anywhere near lights out at home this season, holding a 20-18 record, the Clippers are still 4.5-point favorites to take out the Bulls on Monday night.

Chicago has been playing some inspired ball of late, winning five of their last six as they currently hold down the final play-in spot in the Eastern Conference standings.

Bulls Hoping to Double Down in Los Angeles

In the first half of their Los Angeles doubleheader, the Bulls spoiled LeBron James’ return to the court, defeating the Lakers 118-108 in a game that was never really in doubt. Zach LaVine led the way, pouring in 32 points in an efficient 13-19 shooting display from the floor, while the D held James to just 19 points in 29 minutes of action.

Winning seven of their last nine games, the Bulls are fighting for a spot in the NBA playoff bracket. They have only lost one of their last 10 matchups by more than four points. As such, public betting trends are leaning heavily on Chicago to cover with 77% of the ATS money on them.

Betting lines have already come down in this matchup, with the Clippers set up as 5.5-point chalk earlier in the day. In the last seven head-to-head matchups between these two, the Bulls have covered five times and are 4-1 ATS in their last five meetings in Los Angeles.

Clippers Up-and-Down Season Continues in Wild West

Ty Lue’s team just can’t get on a roll, having alternated wins and losses in their last six games. If that formula continues against the Bulls, it would mean a victory, as they’re coming off a brutal 131-110 home loss to the Pelicans.

Already dealing with a huge void in the lineup, as Paul George is sidelined with a knee injury, LA got more scary news after Leonard got hit in the face against New Orleans. Luckily, he is probable to play tonight.

The Clippers should be the fresher squad of the two with the Bulls playing a back-to-back, however, Los Angeles is just 1-6 ATS in the NBA odds in their last seven games playing on one days rest.

Despite their inconsistent play of late, the Clippers are still in the top six in the Western Conference and a solid bet in the NBA playoff odds. That’s mostly due to the poor play of the teams surrounding them with the Warriors, Lakers and Mavericks all losing games they were expected to win on Sunday.

Bulls vs Clippers Prediction

Prior to the season, expectations were much higher for the Clippers than the Bulls, however, with just a couple weeks to go in the season, just three wins separate the two.

Recent form tells us that it’s tough to gauge how the Clippers will perform on any given night, but Chicago is putting in consistent efforts on a nightly basis. They are one squad that seems intent on locking down a spot in the play-in tournament from the East.

With an 8-4 record this month, the Bulls have raced past Indiana and Washington for the 10th spot in the conference. While they might not win this one outright, our prediction is that the Bulls continue playing the way they’ve been all month and at least keep this one close.

Pick: Chicago Bulls +4.5 (-110)
