The Oklahoma City Thunder (5-2 SU, 4-3 ATS, 1-6 O/U) host the Cleveland Cavaliers (4-3 SU, 2-5 ATS, 3-4 O/U) at Paycom Center on Wednesday, Nov. 4, with tip-off scheduled for 8:00 PM ET on KSBI, Thunder+, and DAZN.
Oklahoma City enters as home favorites led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and emerging guard Ajay Mitchell, while Donovan Mitchell and the Cavs look to bounce back from a home loss to this same OKC team just two nights ago. Here is a full betting breakdown of the top player props for tonight’s cross-conference clash.
Thunder vs Cavaliers Player Props
In the NBA player rebound props department, Oklahoma City center Isaiah Hartenstein leads the pack with a line of 10.5. Cleveland counters on the glass with dual big men Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley, both of whom have total rebounds lines listed at 8.5.
For NBA player assist props, James Harden and Gilgeous-Alexander are tied for the highest playmaking projections on the board at 6.5. Finally, evaluating the NBA 3 pointer props shows Gilgeous-Alexander, Harden, and Donovan Mitchell all dealing with a made threes line of 2.5.

Thunder vs Cavaliers Prop Picks & Predictions
Jarrett Allen 13+ points (-122 at NOVIG)
Allen’s O/U sits at 13.5 at DraftKings but the Cleveland center needs just 13 points to clear this line from Novig at similar odds. That 13-point threshold sits well below his season average of 15.1 points and his 14.2 mark over his last five contests, while his 17.7-point road average provides additional support. Those margins make the 12.5 line playable on the Over, rather than requiring him to reach the higher 13.5 threshold posted at other shops.
Allen has cleared this 12.5-point mark in five of seven games this season, scoring 14, 21, 14, 25, and 14 points. That includes a 14-point showing on 5-of-10 shooting against this very Oklahoma City squad just two days ago. His road efficiency remains exceptional at 67.6% shooting from the field, where he has reached at least 14 points in all three road appearances (14 at Philadelphia, 14 at Atlanta, and 25 at Milwaukee).
With Oklahoma City playing without Chet Holmgren inside, Allen should continue to find clean looks in the paint and on roll opportunities..
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Under 6.5 Assists (-137 at NOVIG)
On the other side of the ball, the Under on Gilgeous-Alexander’s assist prop remains a strong target. While the Thunder superstar is an elite scorer, his playmaking numbers do not align with a projection this high. Across the entire season, he averages just 4.0 assists per game, staying Under 6.5 assists in six of his seven contests (posting 4, 3, 5, 3, 2, 3, and 8 assists).
Gilgeous-Alexander’s facilitation metrics dip slightly at home, where he averages just 3.7 assists per game (3, 5, and 3 assists in three outings at Paycom Center). While Cleveland has been somewhat vulnerable to ball movement on the road, surrendering 30.3 opponent assists per game, Gilgeous-Alexander’s role is heavily geared toward hunting his own shot. He averages 21.0 field goal attempts at home and 23.4 overall, operating primarily as an elite finisher rather than a distributor in the half court. Backing the Under provides a significant statistical cushion.
Averaging 21.0 field goal attempts at home, Gilgeous-Alexander operates more as a primary scorer than a pure distributor in the half-court offense. Given his statistical profile, backing the Under provides a fantastic edge. For those wishing to bet on the reigning two-time MVP, consider taking his points over. He scored 40 points in OKC’s win over the Cavs on Monday night.
Thunder vs Cavaliers Injury Report
As the Thunder and Cavaliers prepare to square off, checking the injury report is vital. Both teams are dealing with significant absences that will heavily impact their respective rotations.
Oklahoma City enters this matchup severely shorthanded. The Thunder will be without Chet Holmgren (Knee), Jalen Williams (Ankle), Alex Caruso (Ankle), Cason Wallace (Shoulder), Nikola Topić (Back), and Thomas Sorber (Knee), who are all listed as Out. Additionally, Jaylin Williams (Back) is Day To Day.
With Holmgren and Sorber Out, the center rotation is incredibly thin. Hartenstein is locked into a massive workload at the starting center position, while Aday Mara should see increased minutes as the primary backup.
In the backcourt, the absences of Jalen Williams, Caruso, and Wallace open up massive holes. Look for Ajay Mitchell and Jared McCain to step into expanded roles with heavier minutes.
Cleveland is also missing critical depth on the wing. Peyton Watson (Hamstring), Jaylon Tyson (Ankle), and Nae’Qwan Tomlin (Back) are all Out.
The Cavaliers will be without their starting small forward in Watson, as well as his primary backup in Tyson. With Tomlin also sidelined, Cleveland’s forward depth is stretched thin. Based on the depth chart, Mario Hezonja and Sam Merrill will likely be asked to step up, seeing increased usage and minutes at the forward spots.
