They’re at opposite ends of their NBA Playoff Bracket in their respective conferences, and there’s significant positioning in play when the Memphis Grizzlies (49-28, 15-22 away) visit the Chicago Bulls (37-40, 20-18 home).
Barring a major collapse, Chicago should qualify for the play-in, but they’re just a game back of both the 8th-seeded Hawks and 9th-seeded Raptors.
Memphis, meanwhile, has been on a tear to close out the year, and trail the Denver Nuggets for top seed in the West by two games, with both teams having five games to play.

Memphis Betting Analysis
If the Grizzlies are going to catch the Nuggets, they’re going to have to do much of the work on the road, with just one home game left on their schedule.
After seeing their 7-game win streak snapped by the Clippers, the Grizz got right back to it and avenged that loss to the same Clippers’ side next game, bouncing them 108-94.
Desmond Bane led Memphis with 22 points, nine assists and three steals, while Luke Kennard came off the bench to drill five triples, part of a 17-point, 6-rebound game against his former team.

Jaren Jackson Jr added nine points, eight boards, two steals and three blocks, while Ja Morant had a quiet 10, with five boards and four dimes.
The Grizzlies have been a boatload of offense during this fun-run, averaging 125.3 points per over their last nine games, shooting 51.1% from the field and 38.6% from distance.
They’ve definitely been outscoring their defensive issues, as they’re surrendering 116.4 points per game over the same stretch — four points higher than their season average.
Chicago Betting Analysis
After three straight games against the LA teams (going 1-2), the Bulls went into Charlotte and thumped the Hornets 121-91 on Friday night.
DeMar DeRozan had 23 points, three boards and four assists, matched by Zach LaVine, who chipped in with three rebounds and three dimes. Nikola Vucevic had 21 points and eight rebounds.

Alex Caruso was the fourth starter to score in double figures, with 10 points, four rebounds, three assists and two blocks, but he’s on the injury report with foot soreness. His status is probable for Sunday.
Chicago’s D — which is tied for seventh in points against at 112.2 per game — will be challenged by the hot-shooting Grizzlies. They’ll also have to deal with a Memphis team that ranks second in fast-break points (17.8) and tops the NBA in points in the paint at 58.6.
The Bulls are seventh in fast-break points allowed (12.8) and fourth in paint points surrendered (47.1).
Grizzlies vs Bulls Betting Prediction
This is the second and final meeting between these teams this year, with Memphis winning at home 104-89 on Feb 7. Morant poured in 34 points, with six boards and seven dimes, while JJJ had 24 points and five blocks.
Memphis hasn’t been great against lesser competition lately, though, going 1-4 ATS in their last five against teams with a losing record, and 2-7 ATS in their last nine against teams with a winning home record.
I’m just not sure Chicago is able to take advantage. They’re 7-10-1 ATS as a home underdog this season. They’ve also been dominated in this head-to-head, going 0-5 ATS in the last five meetings.
With a big one looming vs the Hawks next, look for the Bulls to lose just enough focus for Memphis to take advantage.
