It’s a busy Monday night in the NBA, with eight games on deck. Three of the top four teams in the East, including the Bulls vs 76ers, and five of the top-seven teams in the West are in action, as well as a handful of the game’s biggest stars.

Five of the top-eight MVP candidates are expected to suit up, in addition to four-time MVP LeBron James – more on him later. With a such jam packed slate in store, the player props market is going to be busy and we’ve already circled a couple of player to target.

Pick #1: James Harden Over 24.5 Points and Over 2.5 Threes

In four games since joining the Sixers, Harden has averaged over 26 points per outing, reaching at least 25 points in each contest. Now he gets a pace up spot against the Bulls, in a game with a 229.5-point total, which should be music to his ears.

Chicago ranks 13th in pace, and bottom-eight in opponent field goal percentage. They’re 20th in defensive rating, and only three teams in the entire league allow a higher three-point field goal percentage to enemy shooters.

In Harden’s last game versus the Bulls as a member of the Nets, he made 5-of-8 three-point attempts en-route to a 25 point outing. I like him to replicate if not exceed that type of production on Monday.

  • Pick: James Harden Over 24.5 Points -115 and Over 2.5 Threes +110 (DraftKings)

Pick #2: LeBron James Under 5.5 Assists

Our next target is under 5.5 assists for LeBron James getting very favorable +115 odds. James has been forced to ramp up his scoring in light of his team’s struggles and Anthony Davis’ most recent injury, and if the last few games are any indication, he seems adamant about willing the Lakers to victory almost single handedly.

Last time out, he took 31 shots against the Warriors in a dramatic comeback win. It’s the fourth time in his last eight games he’s taken at least 22 shots, and he’s fallen under 5.5 assists in five consecutive contests.

Los Angeles is a three-point underdog in San Antonio on Monday, which suggests James is going to need to produce another big point total to steal a victory. In games without Davis in the lineup, James’ assist per 100 possessions drops by a full dime, while the Spurs rank above average in both opponent assists allowed and turnovers forced.

  • Pick: LeBron James Under 5.5 Assists +115 (DraftKings)
