Odds as of May 30th

Crowder Comes Alive

Jae Crowder has not had a great series so far. He’s 7-for-27 from the field, including 2-for-20 from three-point land. His defense has been memed by LeBron James and Anthony Davis even got in on the action early in Game 2.

Still, this seems like a buy-low opportunity on Crowder. Shooters shoot and it’s hard to ignore the shot volume in the first three games. He’s taken at least eight shots in all three games, finishing one made shot away from hitting this number in all of them. Look for Crowder to keep shooting and do just enough to get over this incredibly low bar.

  • The Pick: Crowder OVER 9.5 Points (-106)

Luka Can Drain Threes

Taking guys that are on the injury report with a strained neck generally isn’t a good idea but we’re talking Luka Doncic here. He is listed as questionable and it seems safe to assume he’s going to play. If and when he does, his made threes prop is worth a look.

Bettors will likely flock to his points prop as it is only 30.5 but his three-ball number feels like a better price. So far in the series, he’s taken at least 11 three-point attempts in all of them and has made at least five of them in all three games. Luka should keep shooting from beyond the arc and if he does, he is likely to hit at least four attempts.

  • The Pick: Doncic OVER 3.5 Made Threes (+106)
