  • The New York Knicks offer three high-value player prop picks as they host the Brooklyn Nets
  • Target Karl-Anthony Towns Over 11.5 rebounds against a weak Brooklyn defense
  • Read below to find out why OG Anunoby could be a player to fade tonight

The New York Knicks (2-4 SU, 1-5 ATS, 1-5 O/U) host the Brooklyn Nets (1-5 SU, 3-3 ATS, 3-3 O/U) in a lopsided cross-town clash at Madison Square Garden this evening. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. ET, with broadcast coverage available on MSG and the YES Network. Oddsmakers expect a blowout, pegging New York as massive 14.5-point home favorites in a game featuring a 221.5-point projected total.

Will New York’s potent duo of Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns put a beatdown on former Knick Julius Randle? With intriguing usage trends defining both squads early in the season, plenty of betting value remains. Here are three player prop picks I am targeting for this showdown.

Knicks vs Nets Player-Prop Picks

Navigating NBA player props in a projected blowout requires targeting primary rotation pieces who can do their damage early. With Brooklyn currently off the board in many spots, my focus shifts entirely to New York stars capitalizing on a vulnerable Nets defense that surrenders 116.0 points per game. Before locking in these wagers, sign up to bet365 today to ensure you grab the best available numbers.

Pick #1: Jalen Brunson 25+ Points (+122 at Kalshi)

Brunson anchors the Knicks halfcourt offense with a 32.1% season usage rate, averaging exactly 25.5 points across his last 10 games. Playing 35.1 minutes nightly, he draws an excellent matchup against a Nets squad yielding 116.0 opponent points per game alongside a 110.8 defensive rating. Brooklyn allows opponents to shoot .467 from the floor, creating soft spots for NBA player points props bettors.

His volume remains as secure as ever, hoisting at least 17 field goal attempts in every single game this season while already exploding for scoring outbursts of 28, 38, and 24 over three of his last four outings. Even with his home average sitting slightly lower at 24.0 points, I see solid value at +122 odds for the focal point of the Knicks’ attack to clear this number.

Pick #2: Karl-Anthony Towns 12+ Rebounds (-144 at Novig)

Towns has been a dominant force on the glass at Madison Square Garden, pulling down an incredible 15.3 rebounds per game in home contests this season. Averaging 13.5 rebounds overall and 31.7 minutes per night, he faces a reeling Nets team that is just 2-8 over their last 10 games. Towns has cleared this 11.5 threshold in five of his six games this season, as the big man has posted totals of 12, 14, 20, 13, and 12 boards, and has snagged at least 12 rebounds in four of his last five matchups against Brooklyn (12, 12, 15, 15, and 16).

Given Brooklyn’s struggles to generate efficient offense, I expect Towns to see ample rebounding opportunities. Priced at -144, targeting him in NBA player rebound props provides a reliable angle, backed by a staggering 67.1% true shooting percentage that keeps him firmly on the floor.

Pick #3: OG Anunoby Under 2.5 Made Threes (-178 at Kalshi)

Anunoby’s perimeter shooting continues to lack consistency, making this Under an appealing target for NBA 3 pointer props. He averages just 1.7 made threes on 6.0 attempts overall, and those efficiency issues persist at home where he shoots a lackluster 23.8% from deep. Over his last 10 games, his production remains stalled at 1.7 makes per contest. Through six games this season, Anunoby has stayed Under 2.5 made three-pointers in five of them (finishing with 1, 2, 1, 2, and 1 make) while failing to crack multiple threes in two of his three home starts.

While the Nets allow 14.7 opponent threes per game, Anunoby’s modest 20.7% usage rate and 33.5 minutes of action do not provide the volume necessary for me to believe he will comfortably threaten this 2.5-make threshold.
