The Lakers are a dismal 1-4 against the spread in the playoffs over their last five games. Making matters worse for anyone backing the home underdogs, the Lakers are also 1-4 ATS over their last five contests when facing top-10 scoring defenses. The Thunder have been extremely reliable, boasting a 4-2 ATS mark in the postseason. The Lakers are navigating a diabolical track right now, and I am confidently laying the points.

Despite the Lakers struggling in their half-court offense, the Thunder have been firing on all cylinders. The situational data strongly supports a higher-scoring affair: the Over has hit in four of the Thunder’s last five games, and the Over is a flawless 2-0 in their away playoff games this season. Both squads have lit the lamp consistently from deep, and I expect that to continue.
