Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the #1 OKC Thunder (68-14, 35-6 home, 32-8 away) will meet Nikola Jokic and the #4 Denver Nuggets (50-32 26-15 home, 24-17 away) in the second round of the 2025 NBA playoff bracket in a best-of-seven series starting on Monday, May 5th.
The Thunder, who have been resting since completing a four-game sweep of Memphis on April 26, have opened as heavy favorites to advance to the Western Conference finals.
OKC Thunder vs Denver Nuggets Series Odds
The Thunder are -700 favorites to win the best-of-seven series, which amounts to an 87.50% implied win probability. The Nuggets are +500 underdogs, which equals just a 16.67% implied win probability. OKC is also an odds-on favorite to win the series by at least three games with Denver at +110 to at least force a Game 6. The total games has been set at 5.5 with the under favored at -155.

OKC remains the outright favorite in the NBA championship odds, ranging from +135 to +150. The Nuggets are +3500 longshots.
OKC vs Denver Series Schedule
The Denver/OKC series will start at Paycom Arena in Oklahoma City on Monday, May 5th, with tip-off set for 8:40 pm CT/9:40 pm ET. The teams are currently scheduled to play every other day until Game 4 on Sunday, May 11. The remainder of the series schedule has yet to be determined.
Thunder vs Nuggets Regular-Season Scores
The Nuggets were one of the few teams that had a modicum of regular-season success against the NBA-best Thunder. Despite three of the four games taking place in Oklahoma City, the Nuggets managed to split the four-games straight-up (and ATS).
