College Football Week 9 Parlay Picks

In our Week 9 college football parlay for Saturday, we’re turning to three matchups where the favorite holds a major matchup edge. Parlaying these three college football teams together gives us +200 odds at DraftKings.

TCU vs West Virginia

TCU has been the best team in the Big 12 this season, and that’s reflected in the latest Big 12 Championship odds. The Horned Frogs have won four straight games vs ranked teams and are primed to take advantage of a weak West Virginia defense in Week 9.

TCU senior quarterback Max Duggan has thrown for 1,871 yards and 19 touchdowns with just one interception, while running back Kendre Miller has rushed for 731 yards and 10 scores. WVU’s defense has surrendered at least 40 points in back-to-back weeks.

It’s always tough to play in Morgantown, but this experienced Horned Frogs team won’t back down from the challenge. They’ve already taken down Colorado, SMU and Kansas on the road in 2022.

Pick: TCU ML (-265)

Arkansas vs Auburn

The shortest favorite in our Week 9 college football parlay is Arkansas in its matchup with Auburn. The Razorbacks enter off a bye week following a convincing 52-35 victory over BYU two weeks ago.

The key reason to include Arkansas in your parlay is the return of senior quarterback KJ Jefferson, who threw for 367 yards and five touchdowns against BYU. The ‘Hogs also feature the SEC’s leading rusher in Raheim Sanders.

The Tigers are a team you want to be fading right now, as their quarterback Robby Ashford owns the worst completion percentage in the conference, and head coach Bryan Harsin is firmly on the hot seat.

Pick: Arkansas ML (-165)

Illinois vs Nebraska

Illinois has been the surprise team in the Big Ten this season, and at -280 on the moneyline this weekend, they make for a great addition to Week 9 college football parlays. The Illini face a 3-4 Nebraska team that fired its head coach earlier this season.

Illinois’ elite defense is going to be a problem for a Nebraska offense that turned the ball over 13 times in seven games. The Illini are only allowing 8.9 points per game and have forced an impressive 17 turnovers in seven contests.

In addition to stellar defense, Illinois has one of the best rush offenses in the Big 10, averaging just shy of 200 yards on the ground per game. They’ll control the tempo of the game and will come up with a few big defensive plays to secure the victory.

Pick: Illinois ML (-280)

College Football Week 9 Teaser Odds

Matchup Pick (Odds)
Oklahoma State vs Kansas State Ok State +1.5 (Teaser +7.5)
Baylor vs Texas Tech Baylor +2 (Teaser +8)
TOTAL ODDS -103

Odds as of October 28th at DraftKings Sportsbook.

College Football Week 9 Teaser Picks

In our Week 9 college football teaser, we’re teasing the two Big 12 teams that faced off in last year’s conference title game.  Both programs hold great underdog value this weekend, and by teasing them each by six points, we get them at over a touchdown with plus-money value.

Oklahoma State vs Kansas State

Oklahoma State desperately needs a big win in Week 9 to keep its dream of repeating as Big 12 champs alive. The good news is they match up well against a Kansas State team that is dealing with quarterback issues.

Wildcats star quarterback Adrian Martinez left last weekend’s game with an undisclosed injury and is questionable to play Saturday. Backup QB Will Howard has experience, but he’s turnover-prone with a 54.7 career completion percentage.

The Ok State Cowboys could hold a huge QB advantage in this game with Spencer Sanders, who has thrown for over 2,000 yards and 15 touchdowns. Given the fact OSU has covered the spread in eight straight road games, they are a no-brainer addition to Week 9 CFB teasers.

Pick: Oklahoma State +7.5 Alternate Spread (-240)

Baylor vs Texas Tech

The second leg of our Week 9 college football teaser features Baylor in its matchup with Texas Tech. The Red Raiders are another team dealing with quarterback concerns, as Donovan Smith and Tyler Shough have both recently suffered injuries.

TTU’s expected starting quarterback for the Baylor game is freshman Behren Morton, who has thrown three interceptions in the past two games. The Red Raiders offense is built around their pass attack, and the Baylor defense should have a gameplan to give the freshman trouble.

Baylor running back Richard Reese had his breakout game last weekend, rushing for a career-high 186 yards vs Kansas. With one of the top defenses in the Big 12, the Bears should be able to keep this game within a score.

Pick: Baylor +8 Alternate Spread (-255)

  • College Football Week 9 Teaser: Oklahoma State +7.5 & Baylor +8 (-103)
