What Were Baltimore’s Odds Entering Week 7?
Entering Week 7 at 4-2, the Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl odds were at +2200 and rightfully so. They were 2-2 in their last four and just 3-2 overall on the season. Baltimore had some question marks in their secondary that was addressed through a trade where they acquired Marcus Peters.
At +1400, this is the lowest the Ravens have been all year as they have been hovering around the +2000 mark and have been as high as +4100 which was in August. Baltimore’s Super Bowl odds are slowly improving over time and have firmly put them inside the top-10 and approaching the top-five.
Can the Ravens Pose a Problem for New England?
The Baltimore Ravens have a very good offense and defense, but I don’t think they can pose a problem to New England.

Baltimore’s biggest offensive weapon is running the ball, especially with Lamar Jackson under center. Yet, the Patriots run defense has been solid this season and have only allowed 442 rushing yards all season, which is just over 73 yards a game.
For the Ravens to have success this season, the ground game has been a key, which against New England that could very well go out the window. The offensive line has also allowed 17 sacks through five games, where the Patriots have already recorded 25 sacks so it could be a very long night for Lamar Jackson.

Meanwhile, Baltimore has allowed 1,858 passing yards, which is over 300-yards passing per game. Against Tom Brady and the Pats pass-happy offense, it would be very tough on the defense to get off the field.
Right now, with the way these two teams are playing, it seems unlikely the Ravens would pose much of a threat to the Patriots.
Is There Any Value on Baltimore?
The Baltimore Ravens are playing very good football and Lamar Jackson is having a heck of a season. Yet, the Ravens do not present value at +1400 in Super Bowl 54 odds. A main reason is explained above as I don’t give them much of a chance against the Patriots.
They should have some success in the playoffs and could very well get to the AFC Championship game, but right now, New England is tough to beat, and Baltimore’s weaknesses are the Patriots’ strength. So, right now, there is no value in betting the Baltimore Ravens.
