There is a distinct possibility that we could be watching the greatest Super Bowl ever when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs clash on February 7.

There’s also a chance to cash in all across the sports world on Super Sunday, with a variety of cross-sport prop bets designed to match up with the big game.

We’ve scoured the books to find you some of the best of those specific wagers. Are you a big NBA fan? You can decide whether Clyde Edwards-Helaire will have more carries or the Knicks will hit more threes in their game Sunday.

Prop Bet #1: Gobert vs Hill

The beauty of the cross-sport prop is summed up in this wager, where bookmakers can put 7-foot Jazz center Rudy Gobert up against 5-foot-10 burner Tyreek Hill and make you think twice. In this matchup, it’s Hill’s longest reception vs Gobert’s points and rebounds combined in Sunday’s game against the Pacers.

At first glance, you’d think the breakaway ability of Hill is the no-brainer, and looking at Gobert’s season averages of 13.5 points and 13.8 rebounds, pushing just past 27 total points, that’s fair. Hill’s failed to eclipse that mark in just six games this season.

However, the Frenchman has big-stat ability in him, and his best this year was a 29-point, 20 rebound gem against the Mavericks. Using 49 as the possible benchmark, and Hill has bettered that number just three times all season. Add in the extra 1.5-points, and Hill needs a Mahomes bomb to get a W.

Hill had one of those in this postseason, and another was in their Week 8 game against Tampa, when he went for 200+ yards receiving in the first quarter. Take this pick and you’re off and running on Super Sunday.

Prop Bet #2: Brady vs The Knicks

It’s Tom Brady and his total completions in the Super Bowl, up against the total points scored by the New York Knicks in their Feb. 7 game against the visiting Miami Heat. On the season, New York is averaging just over 26 points per opening period. That number dips to 24 at home though. Much will depend on which Miami Heat team shows up in Gotham. If they’re healthy and whole, their defense should keep them around that mark.

Unfortunately, the Heat have been plagued by both injuries and COVID, and they’re in the bottom half of the league in first quarter points surrendered, at 29.6.

Those extra ticks could matter: in 19 games this season, Brady has surpassed the 30-completion plateau just three times. Does he have something special in store for us Sunday as he aims for his seventh Super Bowl title?

Maybe — but it also could be that Tampa is going to have to be throwing the ball more often in this game, needing to score points to keep up with this juggernaut Chiefs offense.

Let’s count on Tom coming through in the clutch, and beating the Knicks.

The pick: Brady more completions than Knicks 1st Q points (-120)

Prop Bet #3 ROJO vs Stars/Blackhawks

Let’s wrap this one up with one from the NHL side, where the total shots on goal between the Stars and the Blackhawks is going against running back Ronald Jones’ rushing total in Super Bowl LV.

Dallas currently ranks 16th in the NHL in shots allowed per game at 29.7, while Chicago is a lowly 31st, getting their goalie peppered with 36.7 shots a night. So Jones would have to hit better than 66 yards to win for you. He’s been dealing with some nagging leg injuries, and was extremely ineffective in the NFC Title game, with 10 totes for 16 yards.

But Jones is capable, and he actually rushed for 66 yards when these teams met back in Week 8. Tampa Bay will likely need a better performance form Jones to keep pressure off of Tom Brady and to try and keep that Chiefs’ offense sidelined with some long drives.

More than anything else, I love the value we’re getting here.
