They are going to make some hay, but if you believe the pre-hype chatter, they’re going to be hard pressed to come close to even half of those figures. It’s not all their fault: this year has been more about the stellar variety of films on display, and they’re all likely going to get some piece of the pie (except, perhaps, for the Irishman).

Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes is center stage for the biggest game of his career, and I can’t help but shake the feeling that the best player in the NFL is about to wreck shop. Mahomes has been lights out these playoffs, throwing five TD passes to dismantle Houston, while chipping in another three to douse the Titans.

Just like that, Patrick Mahomes tosses the go-ahead TD pass to Travis Kelce. After further review, the ruling on the field stands, too.

He’ll be going against the best competition of the season with a powerful 49ers defense that can, on the right day, make quarterbacking impossible for even the most talented pivots, while making it generally uncomfortable on even their sub-par showings.

But San Francisco is going to figure out, just like the Joker will, that this is a super hero that can’t be stopped.

Tyreek Hill could theoretically outrun Reed’s tee shot, but in this prop, can he outscore the bad boy of golf? Reed is entering the Waste Management Phoenix Open with an average score of 69.662.

Hill tallied 67 yards receiving in the AFC Championship Game — tied for the second highest total he’s had since returning from a hamstring injury in Week 13. His best in this stretch is 72 yards. While he looks healthy, perhaps defenses have finally realized that taking him out of the equation may not result in wins, but less likely getting blown out.

If you think Hill’s in for a breakout, you can always go after Tiger Woods’ total score at the 2020 Masters vs Patrick Mahomes’ passing yardage in the Super Bowl. Woods would have to average a 75 at the Masters — which, if he did, wouldn’t have him in danger of missing the cut on Friday — to  give him a four-day score of 300. The point is, Mahomes is going to mash that figure.

In our game props preview, the O/U on the total TD yardage between both teams was 102 – a figure the Chiefs whizzed by themselves in the AFC Title game, with 120. However, in the divisional round against the Texans, in a game they poured in 51, KC racked up just 47 yards on their scores.

The Vancouver Canucks average 31.4 shots a game, and the Hurricanes average 33.4. However, check their shots allowed. The ‘Nucks are seventh worst, their goalie getting peppered with an average of 32.5 shots a night. But Carolina leads the NHL in fewest shots against, limiting the opposition to just 28.7 shots a night.

Add those up, and one big play from KC should have you in the driver’s seat of this wager.
