Odds as of November 10th at Caesars Sportsbook

The over/under for passing yards is 173.5 for Walker and 157.5 for Mariota. The Falcons are 2.5-point favorites and -145 picks on the moneyline in the NFL odds.

The weather forecast calls for a blustery night with patchy fog, a low around 62 and northeast wind at 9-13 mph with gusts up to 24 which could affect the passing games.

TNF Prop #1: DJ Moore Receiving Yards

DJ Moore quickly went from hero to goat two weeks ago in the Panthers’ 37-34 loss to the Falcons in overtime in Atlanta.

The wide receiver’s 62-yard touchdown reception with 12 seconds left in regulation drew the Panthers into a 34-all tie. However, he received an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for removing his helmet during the celebration and kicker Eddy Pineiro missed what turned out to be a 48-yard extra-point attempt.

That ruined Moore’s best game of the season. He finished with six receptions for 152 yards.

DJ Moore Receiving Stats Last 5 Games

Game Receptions Yards Touchdowns
11/6 Bengals 2 24 0
10/30 Falcons 6 162 1
10/23 Buccaneers 7 69 1
10/16 Rams 3 7 0
10/9 49ers 4 59 0

Moore has not had more than 83 receiving yards in any of his other eight games. He has had as many as 50 yards just four times.

The Falcons are last in the NFL in pass defense, though, and Walker burned them for a career-high 317 yards. It seems the perfect setup for Moore to have a big game and get redemption when making your Falcons vs Panthers picks.

Pick: DJ Moore over 58.5 receiving yards -117 (1 unit)

TNF Prop #2: Tyler Allgeier Rushing Yards

There wasn’t a lot of fanfare when the Falcons selected running back Tyler Allgeier in the fifth round of this year’s draft. However, the former BYU standout is making an impact.

Allgeier leads the team with 423 rushing yards on 94 carries with one touchdown. He ranks fourth among NFL rookies in rushing.

In last week’s loss to the Chargers, Allgeier had his best game yet when he set career highs with 99 rushing yards and 123 yards of total offense. He nearly hit the century mark in rushing despite having just 10 attempts.

The Panthers rank 28th in run defense. They gave up 241 yards and five touchdowns on the ground last week in losing to the Bengals.

The Falcons are fourth in the league in rushing offense and the only team in the league with four players with at least 250 yards rushing. The Panthers held Allgeier to 39 yards on 14 carries but look for him to fare better this time around and bet him to go over his TNF player prop total for rushing yards.

Pick: Tyler Allgeier over 31.5 rushing yards -119 (1 unit)

Patterson Can Find End Zone

Falcons running back Codarrelle Patterson missed the previous matchup with the Panthers. It was the last of the four straight games he sat out with a knee injury.

Patterson made an impact in his return last week when he scored both the Falcons’ touchdowns. He rushed 13 times for 44 yards and had one reception for nine yards.

Despite missing a month, Patterson leads the team in touchdowns with five. He has a good chance to find the end zone again versus the Panthers’ porous defense.

Pick: Cordarrelle Patterson anytime touchdown scorer +106 (0.5 units)

TNF Prop Bet Record: Week 9. 2-1, Overall: 11-19 (-7.3 units)
