  • The Jacksonville Jaguars meet the Chicago Bears Sunday in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with kickoff at 9:30 a.m. ET on NFL Network or NFL+.
  • It will be the 12th appearance for Jacksonville in London, where they are 6-5 overall. The Bears last played in London in 2019 and are 1-1 across the pond.
  • Check out our prediction, pick and guide on the top odds for this Sunday morning NFL clash.

Winners of two in a row, the Chicago Bears (3-2; 3-1-1 ATS) cross the Atlantic Ocean to face the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-4). It’s the first of two straight games for Jacksonville in London. The Jags have been the NFL’s de facto London team for the last few years.

Jacksonville was the last team in the NFL to get a win, but needed a late field goal to squeeze past the Colts last Sunday, 37-34. A lot of attention has been paid to the Bears and No. 1 overall pick quarterback Caleb Williams. Williams has been OK, but the Bears defense has been better than expected.

Read on for our analysis, prediction and smart picks for Jaguars vs Bears.

Calling On A Tank

The Jaguars were floundering after four straight losses to start the season. There were whispers about coach Doug Pederson’s job and the performance of highly-touted quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

But the Jaguars may have found two talented young offensive weapons. Rookie wide receiver Brian Thomas out of LSU leads all first-year receivers with 397 yards (yes, even more than Malik Nabers) and second-year running back Tank Bigsby leads the entire NFL with eight yards per carry.

With running back Travis Etienne battling a shoulder injury, Bigsby could be poised to have a big game in London, so make sure you check out the odds on his prop bets.

Caleb is All Right

No one is ready to claim that the Bears have their quarterback of the future just yet. Williams has been sacked 17 times and looks like a rookie behind an average offensive line for the Bears. He’s faded to +280 in the NFL OFOY odds.

He has run for 113 yards and is coming off his best performance of his young career, throwing for 304 yards and two scores against the Panthers. But remember, that’s the Panthers. Williams and lead wide receiver DJ Moore have established a good connection. Moore has 294 yards and three scores.

Jaguars vs Bears Prediction

  • Bears -1.5 (-115) at FanDuel
  • Under 45 (-120) at BetMGM

With a small spread like this, you’re basically just picking who is going to win. The Bears have been favored three times this season and have covered the spread all thee times. They are 6-4 ATS in their last 10 games dating back to last season.

Chicago’s defense is a tough match-up for Jacksonville. Eight of the Bears’ nine leading tacklers on defense are under 28. The Bears rank third in the NFL in turnover differential at +5. Montez Sweat is still a factor on the defensive line for the Bears, and linebacker Tremaine Edwards is a two-time Pro Bowl player.

Jacksonville’s defense is soft. It ranks 30th in the NFL in points allowed and 31st in yards allowed. Travon Walker has five sacks to lead Jacksonville, and that’s a concern if you’re the Bears, but Jacksonville can be run on.

Lawrence has weirdly always played well in London. He’s 3-1 in four starts there, and the Jags are 2-0 in Tottenham Hotspur. Jacksonville’s arrival in London was delayed because of Hurricane Milton. Chicago flew in early in the week to get acclimated. The Bears have next week off, while Jacksonville will stay in London and host the New England Patriots next week.

Two weeks ago, Jacksonville was reportedly on the verge of a locker room mutiny, and Lawrence was getting into it on the sidelines with his wide receivers. One win doesn’t cover up Jacksonville’s issues. The Bears have an exciting young QB and are in a good place for a win.
