  • The SNF game features a huge NFC East showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys
  • A look at all the opening NFL Week 14 odds can be found below with early predictions

The NFL Week 14 schedule is carrying a very distinctive Keystone State flavor to the matchups in the prime time games.

It will be the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots launching the Week 14 NFL slate in the TNF contest. There was a time when this matchup would’ve been must-see TV, but that time is not now.

On the other hand, the clash on the Week 14 SNF slate is featuring two of the NFL’s best teams. It’s the latest renewal of the bigger rivalry between the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys. If Dallas is maintaining any hope of catching the Eagles for the NFC East divisional title, this is an absolute must win for the Cowboys.

Let’s take a look at all the opening betting lines for the NFL’s Week 14 slate.

Coming off their bye week and prior to that, back-to-back losses, the Minnesota Vikings are the shortest favorites of Week 14 as the 1.5-point away chalk over the Las Vegas Raiders. Minnesota is 6-1 ATS over the past seven games.

The Week 14 total high of 49.5 points features the Eagles vs Cowboys game. This contest includes the NFL’s #1 (Dallas, 32.3 PPG) and #4 (Philadelphia, 28.2 PPG) scoring offenses. The smallest total is the 33.5 points assigned to the Patriots vs Steelers game. All together there are six games during Week 14 with totals under 40 points.

The San Francisco 49ers are favorites in the Super Bowl odds at +350.

Bills vs Chiefs Early Odds & Predictions

It’s not on the prime time schedule, but the season may be on the line for the Buffalo Bills as they trek to Kansas City to face their nemesis the Chiefs. Kansas City has ended Buffalo’s season in two of the past three years. The Chiefs could do so figuratively on Sunday.

Coming off their bye week, the reeling Bills have lost three of four SU and are 1-7 ATS over their past eight games. Buffalo is 2-1 SU and ATS in the club’s last three road games facing the Chiefs, though.

Pick: Chiefs -3 (-115)

Opening Cowboys vs Eagles Odds & Predictions

Finishing a five-game gauntlet that’s seen them play the Cowboys, Chiefs, Bills, 49ers and Cowboys again, the Eagles finally suffered their second loss of the season when humbled 42-19 at home in Week 13 by San Francisco.

Last week, for the first time all season, the Cowboys failed to cover at home in a SU victory over the Seattle Seahawks. Dallas is 5-1 ATS at home this season. The Cowboys are 6-0 SU at home.

Pick: Eagles +3 (-115)

Expected Week 14 Line Movement

Both the Steelers and Patriots are playing musical QBs while their seasons plummet downward. Pittsburgh has lost two of three and also QB1 Kenny Pickett, who left their home-field setback to Arizona with an ankle injury. Mitch Trubisky took over under center.

New England opted to bench starter Mac Jones in favor of Bailey Zappe and got shut out 6-0 at home by a mediocre Los Angeles Chargers squad. Already this line has jumped from Pittsburgh -3 to Steelers -5.5. Latest word is that Pickett is out 2-4 weeks, so let’s see how this spread evolves during the course of the week.

Pick: Steelers -5.5 (-110)
