  • These are the best opening Super Bowl player props and the top player over/unders for the Kansas City Chiefs vs Philadelphia Eagles
  • Chiefs TE Travis Kelce has gone over 77.5 receiving yards in both of KC’s playoff games
  • Eagles WR AJ Brown was significantly under 70.5 yards in receptions in each of Philadelphia’s postseason games. We target both in our Chiefs vs Eagles props below

When it comes to Super Bowl betting, player props are a fun way to add a little extra excitement to the big day. And there’s a plethora of Super Bowl player props to be considered for Super Bowl 57 between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.

Will Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce continue to be a dominant presence in the NFL postseason? Can Philadelphia wide receiver AJ Brown rediscover the form that made him such a threat during the regular season?

Which Patrick Mahomes will show up for the game? Will the Kansas City quarterback put forth a dominant performance like the one he enjoyed as the Chiefs won Super Bowl 54? Or will it be an underwhelming effort such as the one he turned in when KC was whipped by Tampa Bay in Super Bowl 55?

These and other plays are worthy of consideration in the Super Bowl 57 player props.

Best Prop Bets for the Super Bowl

The Eagles are currently set as 2-point favorites over the Chiefs in the 2023 Super Bowl odds. Kickoff for Super Bowl 57 at State Farm Stadium is set for 6:30 on Sunday, February 12. FOX is carrying the broadcast of the game.

Kelce a Yardage Monster

Super Bowl history will be made this season. For the first time, brothers are competing in the game – Chiefs TE Travis Kelce and Eagles center Jason Kelce. When it comes to Super Bowl prop bets, Travis is the Kelce who is going to be a factor.

YouTube video

This season, he led all NFL TE in receptions (110), receiving yardage (1,338) and TD catches (12). In the playoffs, Kelce is averaging 10.5 receptions and 88 yards per game. He’s also snared at least one TD catch in both of KC’s postseason contests.

The over/under on Kelce’s receiving yardage for the Super Bowl is set at 77.5 yards. He’s gone above that number in both of the Chiefs’ postseason games so far. Kelce went for 78 yards in receptions during KC’s AFC Championship Game win over Cincinnati. During the Chiefs’ Divisional Round triumph over Jacksonville, Kelce was on the end of 98 yards in receptions.

Pick: Travis Kelce (KC) over 77.5 receiving yards (-125).

Eagles’ Brown In Postseason Downturn

It’s notable that the biggest news AJ Brown has made during the NFL postseason came when the Eagles receiver got into an NFC Championship Game pregame shoving match with San Francisco’s Jimmie Ward. If only he could create that kind of separation during the game.

Brown was acquired in the offseason from the Tennessee Titans in order to help get the Eagles to the Super Bowl. Mission accomplished. The Eagles were 1.5-point favorites in the early Chiefs vs Eagles betting line. Although, it’s difficult to make a case that Brown is playing any role of significance during the playoffs.

Statistically, he’s endured two of his three worst games over the season during the past two weeks. Brown caught three passes for 22 yards in the Divisional Round win over the New York Giants. He had four catches for 28 yards against a 49ers team not known for defending the deep ball.

That’s 50 yards in two games. Brown’s Super Bowl receiving yardage total is 71.5 yards. His regular season average is 88 yards per game. Does he come back to being the Brown who’s gone over this total nine times during the season, or does his playoff slide continue? We’ll back the under in the our Super Bowl props.

Pick: AJ Brown (PHI) under 71.5 in receiving yards (-115)
