How Does the NFL Playoff Bracket Work?
Unlike, say, the March Madness bracket, the NFL playoff bracket is not fixed. After each round, the bracket is reorganized so that the best-remaining seed in each conference always faces the worst-remaining seed. This season, that would mean that if either of the #7 seeds win, they will be guaranteed to face the #1 seed in their respective conference (Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC, Detroit Lions in the NFC).
So when filling out your bracket, make sure your second and third-round matchups accord with the NFL playoff bracket rules.
NFL Playoff Schedule

Wild Card | Jan. 11-13 | 14 |

Super Bowl | Feb. 9 | 2 |
