  • Lambeau Field  will be on fire when the Los Angeles Rams invade Green Bay to take on the Packers Sunday, November 28th
  • Both teams are coming off losses last week and will be looking to right the ship this time around

A possible NFC Championship Game preview takes place this Sunday when the Los Angeles Rams (7-3) get it on with the Green Bay Packers (8-3). Kick-off from Lambeau Field is scheduled for 4:25 pm ET on FOX. Temperatures are expected to be in the low 30s with a slight wind and a close to 0% chance of precipitation.

The Rams have yet to win in the month of November and this will be their final opportunity. They were 100% manhandled 31-10 by the San Francisco 49ers last time out so they are certainly not in a great place right now. Meanwhile, the Packers have lost two of their last three but are keeping things close after losing 34-31 to the Minnesota Vikings last weekend.

Rams vs Packers Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Los Angeles Rams -2 (-110) -130 O 47 (-110)
Green Bay Packers +2 (-110) +110 U 47 (-110)

Odds as of November 27th at DraftKings.

The current odds show the Rams as 2-point favorites in this game although they were 2.5-point favorites just Wednesday. The total is hovering at 47 but could easily tick up a point or two before kickoff. Both teams can score points in a hurry which makes this a difficult one to gauge.

Los Angeles Rams Outlook

The Rams looked like a legit Super Bowl contender just a few short weeks ago. They entered the month of November with only one loss and looked to be men amongst boys in the NFL. Something happened when the calendar turned to November because they still have yet to win a game this month.

Last time out they weren’t even close either as they got smoked by the San Francisco 49ers 31-10.

Los Angeles allowed the 49ers to run for 156 yards which went a long way in deciding the game. That was San Francisco’s best rushing output of the season. On top of that, the 49ers exposed everyone in the Rams’ secondary not named Jalen Ramsey as Deebo Samuel and George Kittle combined for 147 yards receiving.

Green Bay Packers Outlook

People are saying the Green Bay Packers are in trouble after losing two of their last three games. I don’t know if that is 100% true. First of all, the first of the two losses was against the Kansas City Chiefs and Aaron Rodgers didn’t even play. That doesn’t count. The second was a close loss on the road to a division rival so that’s nothing to be ashamed of.

We all saw what happened in last season’s NFC Championship Game.

Aaron Rodgers is still elite and he showed it last time he saw this team. He gashed them for almost 300 yards on a huge stage and he’s coming off a game where he went for 385 yards. Jalen Ramsey or no Jalen Ramsey, the Rams will have a very hard time with Rodgers this Sunday.

Rams vs Packers Best Bet

This game is definitely deserving of the 4:25pm ET slot as it’s the best game of the day. There are all kinds of playoff implications and it could seriously be a preview of the NFC Championship Game. It’s just that I think the wrong team is favored here.

The Rams have lost two in a row and honestly look like a mess at the moment. They are getting a Packers’ team that hasn’t lost at home all season. Green Bay may have lost two of their last three but one of those was a 13-7 setback to the Kansas City Chiefs where Aaron Rodgers didn’t play. When I sit down to watch this game Sunday, there is no chance I would want to have a Rams ticket in my hand. Keep the points, I think the Packers win straight up.
