Looking at the various Steelers vs Browns props, both quarterbacks are lined at 1.5 for passing touchdowns in the odds above. Nick Chubb for Cleveland has the highest rushing total and Diontae Johnson of Pittsburgh has the highest receiving total.

TNF Prop Bet #1: Cooper Making Impact

The Browns swung a big offseason trade with the Dallas Cowboys for Amari Cooper. In Week 2, the veteran wide receiver began paying dividends.

Cooper had nine catches for 101 yards and one touchdown against the Jets. That came after he managed just three receptions for 17 yards in the Browns’ Week 1 win over the Carolina Panthers.

Quarterback Jacoby Brissett and Cooper both say they are developing better chemistry by the day.

The Steelers could have a hard time generating a pass rush with star linebacker TJ Watt sidelined in the Steelers vs Browns final injury report. They had no sacks last week. That should give Cooper ample time to get open in this game and make him a great selection in our TNF prop picks.

Furthermore, the Steelers are 30th among the 32 NFL teams in pass defense.

  • The Pick: Amari Cooper Over 4.5 Receptions (+112); 1 unit

TNF Prop Bet #2 Slim Pickens So Far

The Steelers chose Georgia wide receiver George Pickens in the second round of this year’s draft. He impressed during training camp, and it seemed he would be a big part of the offense.

However, Pickens has been barely utilized so far. He has just two catches for 23 yards in two games.

Steelers offensive coordinator Matt Canada has come under fire from the media and fans. The complaint about Canada is he isn’t allowing Trubisky to make explosive plays in his first season as quarterback following the retirement of Ben Roethlisberger.

The Browns have allowed 269 passing yards on explosive plays (20 or more yards) through two games. Look for Canada to open things up and give the speedy Pickens, who has +1400 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds, the chance to have some big gainers this week.

  • The Pick: George Pickens Over 15.5 Longest Reception (-139); 1 unit

Steelers vs Browns Props – Touchdown Scorer Odds

The Browns’ Chubb has the early league lead for rushing touchdowns with three. All came in last week’s loss. He is also second in the NFL with 228 rushing yards.

The Browns pretty much go as Chubb goes. He’ll get plenty of chances to hit paydirt again this week and should be considered in your Steelers vs Browns picks.

Steelers running back Najee Harris has yet to get untracked this season. He has contributed just 115 total yards – 72 rushing, 43 passing – through two weeks.

Harris does have a receiving touchdown but none on the ground. As a rookie last season, Harris found the end zone 10 times.

The Steelers need an effective Harris to make Canada’s offense work. Look for them to try to establish Harris early in this one.

  • Najee Harris first touchdown scorer (+525); 0.5 units
  • Nick Chubb anytime touchdown scorer (-155); 1 unit
  • TNF Prop Bet Record: Week 2: 0-4. Overall: 2-6, -5.01 units
