Week 2’s Sunday Night Football NFL player props were, in a word, ugly.

Yes, Bill Belichick was able to slow down the breakneck Miami Dolphins’ offense, helping crater our picks fast.

So the bounce back starts now, and in Sin City, where the Las Vegas Raiders host the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Action gets underway at 8:20pm ET from Allegiant Stadium, in a game you can see live on NBC.

Let’s run down the available prop bets and share our favorite picks.

Steelers vs Raiders Props #1: Josh Jacobs Rush Yards

It feels like the Josh Jacobs rushing crown was eons ago, and yet, it just happened last season.

That’s what missing most of training camp as part of a contract holdout and a pair of subpar performances to start the year will do to you.

Jacobs put up -2 yards rushing on nine carries against the Bills in a 38-10 drubbing, and carried 19 times for 48 yards in the season-opening win over the Broncos.

The Steelers have surrendered an NFL-worst 193 yards rushing per game through two games, but they were pitted against two of the best rushing games in the league in San Francisco and Cleveland.

Last year, Pittsburgh held Jacobs to 44 yards on 15 carries en route to a 13-10 win.

Let’s wait until Jacobs proves he’s back before betting he’s back.

Steelers vs Raiders Prop Picks:

  • Jacobs UNDER 71.5 rushing yards (-105); 1 unit to win 0.95 units

Steelers vs Raiders Props #2: Pickett Passing and Pickens Receiving Yards

Not sure why the Raiders’ defense is projected to hold Pickett under a passing number he’s already surpassed against better defenses in both the 49ers and Browns.

Pittsburgh hasn’t been able to consistently run the ball, so their second-year pivot has averaged 38 pass attempts through two games. He also threw for 244 yards in his lone career start against the Raiders last year.

I’m also not sure why George Pickens is pegged at a receiving yards figure of 53.5, considering he just went for 127 on 10 targets in Pitt’s 26-22 win over Cleveland.

Diontae Johnson is out again, meaning there’s exactly one explosive Steeler pass-catcher for Pickett to target.

Steelers vs Raiders Prop Picks:

  • Pickett OVER 221.5 passing yards (-115); 1 unit to win 0.87 units
  • Pickens OVER 53.5 receiving yards (-115); 1.5 units to win 1.31 units

Steelers vs Raiders Props #3: Myers, Harris Streaking

These wrap up these Week 3 NFL player props with picks on who we think will find paydirt.

Back from a concussion, Jakobi Myers will play off Davante Adams and likely get a lot of looks. He’s scored at least one touchdown in each of his last four appearances.

Steelers vs Raiders Scoring Props

Player Odds to Score 1st TD Odds to Score Any TD
Josh Jacobs (LV) +450 -130
Davante Adams (LV) +600 +110
Najee Harris (PIT) +850 +150
Jakobi Meyers (LV) +1000 +195
George Pickens (PIT) +1000 +175
Jaylen Warren (PIT) +1100 +205
Pat Freiermuth (PIT) +1200 +220
Austin Hooper (LV) +1600 +330
Hunter Renfrow (LV) +1700 +340
Allen Robinson (PIT)
+1900 +380
Calvin Austin III (PIT) +2000 +425

For the visitors, Najee Harris has had some tough sledding of late, but he is still a goal line threat. Plus, he’s scored a touchdown in each of the Steelers’ last three games as road underdogs.

Meanwhile, Pickens has scored a touchdown in three of the Steelers’ last four games against AFC opponents.

Steelers vs Raiders Prop Picks:

  • Harris ANYTIME TD scorer (+150); 1 unit to win 1.5 units
  • SNF Season Results: 2-7, -5.34 units
