Will The Line Change?

I think this is right about where the line should be and suspect it will stay around here. It is practically a pick’em game, as it should as they are evenly matched up. Both have solid quarterback play, a good ground game, and a defense that keeps them in games.

So, unless a major injury to either teams starting quarterback this week, I suspect the spread will fluctuate between here and -3.5 for the Bears.

Any Injuries To Monitor?

Last week, the Vikings were without star linebacker, Anthony Barr while cornerback Mackensie Alexander was also out due to an injury. Barr will most likely play while Alexander is unknown, so losing him would be a big blow. But, they dealt with it last week.

For the Bears, last week saw star defensive lineman, Akiem Hicks leave the game with an injury and receiver Taylor Gabriel leave with a concussion. Their status is currently unknown.

What’s The Best Bet?

I really like the Minnesota Vikings here, as I think they have a very good chance to win the game as road underdogs.

Minnesota has been solid this season, and that starts with Dalvin Cook. Through three games he has rushed for 375 yards and has been unstoppable. Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears have only allowed 205 yards through three games, so it will be a factor of can Cook get past the D-Line and into the secondary.

Another reason why I like the Minnesota Vikings is their line play. The Vikings have recorded 10 sacks through three games and only allowed two. The Chicago Bears, meanwhile, have allowed eight. So, there is a very good chance the Vikings D-Line can get into the backfield and rush Mitch Trubisky and force him to make bad throws, or sack him.

Right now, the best bet is on the Minnesota Vikings at +2.5 as I believe they will win the game.

Pick: Minnesota Vikings (+2.5)
