- Chiefs are modest 6-5 ATS this season, but sportsbooks are giving K.C. the 10-point advantage
- Game between the Chargers and Broncos moves to a Pick matchup
- Bills sit second in AFC East at 8-3, but are 7-point underdogs against Cowboys
There’s much more at stake in the Week 13 matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders than just another victory. With first-place in the AFC West on the line, this game could have massive implications on who finishes first in the division.
The Chiefs (7-4) head into the game as 10-point favorites, while the Raiders will look to match the Chiefs win total with a victory and shake off their blowout loss to the New York Jets.
Is there value in taking the Chiefs to cover at +100 despite the fact that the team has posted a 6-5 overall record against the spread this season?
Here are the opening lines for all Week 16 games.

Pivotal AFC West Clash
The line opened at 8.5 in favor of the Chiefs, but increased to 10 points following Oakland’s shocking 34-3 loss to the New York Jets in Week 12. Oakland QB Derek Carr, who was pulled in the game vs the Jets, will be looking to rebound after posting the fourth-lowest passer rating of his career (52.5), according to ESPN Stats and Info.
Oakland has not covered over their last two games, but the team has covered the spread three of its last five.

Panthers 10-Point Favorites Despite Three Game Losing Skid
The other large spread of the week comes in a game between the Carolina Panthers and Washington Redskins. Carolina is in a downward spiral, losing three straight after winning five of six games prior to the recent slump.
The Panthers are 5-6 and second in the NFC South with a matchup against the Redskins on tap. Washington is coming off a win over the Detroit Lions but are still 2-9 on the season. At this point, the Redskins are playing for pride . . . and a high draft pick.
Food for thought: Carolina has only covered the spread in one of its last three games and two of its last five. The Panthers are 6-5 ATS this season, but Washington is 4-7 which may make your decision a little easier.
Chargers and Broncos Listed as Pick’em
What is the smallest spread of Week 13?
The game between the Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos was listed as a pick by Sunday evening. The line opened at 1.5 in favor of the Broncos and even reached two points before being bet down to even on both sides.
Philip Rivers has 61 losses by 7 or fewer points as a starting quarterback.

Bettors will likely want to stay away from the Chargers, who have dropped back-to-back games and are 3-6-2 ATS this season. Denver is 3-1 ATS over its last four games, which makes the Broncos a little more attractive as a pick against the Chargers.
Another small spread worth taking a close look at is the game between the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers. Sportsbooks are giving the Browns the one-point edge as the road team even though Cleveland has covered just four games all season.
Bills 7-Point Underdogs on Thanksgiving vs Cowboys
There’s not a lot of love for the red-hot Buffalo Bills in Week 13.
Buffalo has won two straight and are 7-3-1 ATS this season, yet head into Thursday’s Thanksgiving game against the Dallas Cowboys as 7-point underdogs.
It’ll be difficult to ignore the fact that the Bills have covered three of the last four, with one game resulting in a push. The Cowboys are 31-19-1 in Thanksgiving games, which may well have been a factor in determining the spread. But Dallas has also covered the spread in four of its last five games heading into action against the Bills.
