Titans vs Jaguars Early Odds & Prediction

The AFC South title will go to the winner when the Tennessee Titans (7-9) visit the Jacksonville Jaguars (8-8) at TIAA Bank Stadium. The Jaguars are favored by 5.5 points.

The Titans are on a six-game losing streak, the latest defeat coming on Thursday night to the Dallas Cowboys 27-13. The Jaguars routed the Texans 31-3 on Sunday on the road to run their winning streak to four games.

Travis Etienne ran for 108 yards and a touchdown in the first half to lead the Jaguars then was rested for the final two quarters. Jacksonville also got a fumble return by Tyson Campbell for a score.

Trevor Lawrence played just one possession in the third quarter and finished with 152 yards passing. The Jaguars led 28-3 at halftime.

Journeyman quarterback Joshua Dobbs made his first career start ahead of rookie Malik Willis for the Titans on Thursday. Dobbs threw for 232 yards and a TD with one interception.

The Titans are banged up and beaten down. The streaking Jaguars will win this one going away.

Pick: Jaguars -5.5 (-110)

Lions vs Packers Early Odds & Prediction

This is basically a playoff game as the Green Bay Packers (8-8) host the Detroit Lions (8-8) at Lambeau Field as 4.5-point favorites. The Packers make the playoffs with a win. The Lions need to both win and have the Seattle Seahawks lose to the Los Angeles Raiders to quality for the postseason.

The Lions won for the fourth time in their last five games when they blasted the Chicago Bears 41-10 on Sunday. The Packers extended their winning streak to four games by drubbing the NFC North champion Minnesota Vikings 41-17.

Jared Goff threw three touchdown passes for the Lions, including two to Brock Wright in the first half. That kept Detroit’s hopes alive of reaching the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

Goff completed passes to 10 different receivers as he went 21 of 29 for 255 yards. He also did not throw an interception for an eighth straight game.

Aaron Rodgers threw a TD pass and ran for a score to lead the Packers, who also got two touchdowns on long returns. Keisean Nixon ran a kickoff back 105 yards and Darnell Savage had a 75-yard pick-six.

Aaron Jones rushed for 111 yards on 14 carries.

These aren’t the same old Lions as coach Dan Campbell is changing the organization’s culture. Detroit might not make the playoffs, but it won’t lay an egg in a pivotal game.

Pick: Lions +4.5 (-114)

Buccaneers vs Falcons Early Odds & Prediction

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are seven-point underdogs to the Atlanta Falcons on the road despite clinching the NFC South title on Sunday. The Falcons are such big favorites because the Buccaneers plan to rest quarterback Tom Brady for the playoffs.

The Buccaneers are still better than the Falcons even without Brady. It’s also difficult to see the Falcons favored by a touchdown against any opponent with rookie Desmond Ridder at QB.

Look for this line to get bet down.

Pick: Buccaneers +7 (-110)
