Week 2 ATS Picks
Odds as of 8:11 pm ET on Sunday, Sep. 13. Lock in the top NFL betting promos for Week 2.
Lions vs Bills Pick (DET +3.5)
Last season’s stats point to an absolute shootout. The Lions averaged 28.3 points and 388.7 yards per game in 2025, matching the Bills’ 28.3 scoring average exactly. With two potent offenses trading blows, backing Detroit to keep the game within a field goal offers clear situational value.
Beyond matching Buffalo’s scoring output, Detroit established superior ball security with a +4 turnover differential compared to Buffalo’s +1 margin. In games decided by a single possession, the Lions converted red-zone trips into touchdowns at a lethal 64.8% clip, providing the scoring ceiling and efficiency needed to cover the 3.5-point hook on the road.

Eagles vs Titans Pick (PHI -7)
The Eagles produced 22.3 points per game last season, while the Titans managed a sluggish 16.7 points and 284.1 yards per contest. Given the Titans’ historical third-down conversion struggles, laying the touchdown with Philadelphia offers strong value for an offense built to control the clock and dictate tempo.
Tennessee’s offense ranked 31st in the NFL on third down with a dismal 31.9% conversion rate, severely capping their ability to sustain drives against a Philadelphia defense that allowed just 19.1 points per game. Combined with the Eagles’ +6 turnover margin versus Tennessee’s -5 differential, Philadelphia holds an overwhelming situational edge to pull away for a multi-score victory.

Steelers vs Patriots Pick (NE -5.5)
The Patriots were explosive last season, pairing a high-octane 28.8 PPG scoring attack with 391.2 total yards per game. While the Steelers averaged a respectable 23.4 points, they struggled to maintain pocket consistency against elite defensive fronts. Backing New England at -5.5 is the sharp ATS play to cover at home.
New England’s complementary dominance was unmatched in 2025, complementing their scoring output with a suffocating defense that yielded only 18.8 points per game. Pittsburgh produced nearly 75 fewer total yards per game (316.9 YPG) and converted third downs at just a 40.0% rate, meaning New England’s relentless pass rush will create ample separation at Gillette Stadium.

Vikings vs Bears Pick (CHI -5.5)
The Bears averaged 25.9 points per game in 2025, compared to the Vikings’ 20.2 points and 297.0 total yards. Relying on last season’s efficiency metrics and roster improvements, the Bears hold a decisive edge in this divisional clash, making CHI -5.5 a premier play.
This matchup is defined by a massive gap in turnover execution, where Chicago led the entire NFL with a +22 turnover differential while Minnesota struggled at -9. The Bears also dominated third downs with a 42.7% conversion rate compared to Minnesota’s 31.8%, ensuring Chicago sustains scoring drives while repeatedly forcing Minnesota into predictable, long-yardage passing situations.

Panthers vs Falcons Pick (ATL -1.5)
Both teams experienced offensive growing pains last season, with the Panthers averaging 18.3 points and the Falcons posting 20.8. However, the Falcons showcased a significantly higher floor in the trenches and established a more dependable ground attack, making them the much safer play at home laying just 1.5 points.
Atlanta’s operational advantage is reinforced by ball security and yardage differential, where the Falcons posted a +5 turnover margin and generated 343.6 total yards per game compared to Carolina’s 310.6 yards and -2 differential. In a tight divisional battle, Atlanta’s top-10 rushing success rate will control the fourth-quarter clock to secure the win and cover.

Packers vs Jets Pick (GB -4.5)
The Packers averaged 23.0 points per game last season, vastly outperforming a Jets unit that managed just 17.6 points per contest. Backing Green Bay at -4.5 is the most logical mathematical route on the board, as New York’s offensive limitations give the Packers a clear edge.
Green Bay operated as one of the NFL’s premier situational offenses in 2025, converting third downs at an elite 48.8% clip (second in the NFL). In stark contrast, the Jets collapsed on both sides of the ball, surrendering 29.6 points per game (31st overall) while posting a league-worst -19 turnover differential, which will hand Jordan Love and the Packers repeated short fields.

Saints vs Ravens Pick (BAL -8.5)
The Ravens averaged 24.9 points per game in 2025, significantly outpacing the Saints’ 18.0 scoring average. In Baltimore, the Ravens possess the necessary offensive firepower and defensive versatility to dictate terms from start to finish, warranting full confidence in laying the 8.5 points.
Baltimore’s offensive engine generated 349.4 total yards per game with a robust 40.9% third-down conversion rate, whereas New Orleans struggled to stay on schedule while allowing 22.5 points per contest defensively. Facing Baltimore’s top-tier rushing attack in a hostile road environment, the Saints simply lack the explosive playmakers to keep pace across four quarters.

Bengals vs Texans Pick (CIN +2.5)
The Bengals averaged 24.4 points per game last season, closely mirroring the Texans’ 23.8 points and 341.6 total yards. Because these two AFC contenders were so evenly matched offensively in 2025, grabbing the points with the live underdog holds tremendous mathematical value.
Cincinnati’s passing attack held a distinct advantage in high-leverage moments, converting 43.4% of third downs compared to Houston’s 37.2%. With Joe Burrow orchestrating an offense that averaged 343.2 yards per contest, taking the superior third-down passing attack catching +2.5 points is a high-probability wager in a contest that should come down to the final possession.

Browns vs Buccaneers Pick (TB -8.5)
The Browns struggled heavily throughout 2025, producing just 16.4 points per game. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers averaged a solid 22.4 points and executed with far greater consistency inside scoring territory. Based on last year’s baseline production, laying the 8.5 points with the home favorite is entirely justified.
Cleveland’s offense ranked near the bottom of the league in both scoring (16.4 PPG) and total yardage (282.4 YPG, 30th overall) while converting third downs at an anemic 33.6% clip. Tampa Bay countered with a +7 turnover differential and a 41.2% third-down rate, creating a decisive efficiency gap that will allow the Buccaneers to pull away comfortably at Raymond James Stadium.

Jaguars vs Broncos Pick (JAC +2.5)
The Jaguars were exceptionally efficient last season, posting 27.9 points per game compared to the Broncos’ 23.6. Securing points with a capable Jacksonville offense that averaged 351.9 total yards per contest provides a massive edge as a road underdog.
Jacksonville’s offense ranked among the NFL’s top five in scoring while generating a stellar +13 turnover differential (compared to Denver’s -3). The Jaguars’ proven ability to convert takeaways into points and sustain scoring drives makes catching +2.5 points one of the highest-value underdog bets on the Week 1 slate.

Raiders vs Chargers Pick (LAC -7)
The Chargers posted a significant offensive edge last season, averaging 21.4 points and 333.8 yards per game compared with the Raiders’ 13.9 points and 245.2 yards. With Los Angeles also converting third downs at a 45.8% rate, laying a touchdown at home is justified against a Raiders offense that struggled to sustain drives.
The situational gap extends to ball security and pass protection. Las Vegas carried a -7 turnover differential, while the Chargers finished at +1 and produced 45 sacks. That combination should give Los Angeles extra possessions and favorable field position, making LAC -7 the model’s preferred side.

Seahawks vs Cardinals Pick (SEA -5.5)
Seattle’s defensive improvement and superior recent efficiency give the Seahawks the edge in this matchup. The available numbers show Seattle with a +3 turnover differential, while Arizona has yet to establish a comparable offensive baseline. Backing the road favorite at -5.5 reflects the gap in reliability between the two teams.
Seattle’s ability to create takeaways should be especially important against an Arizona offense still searching for consistency. The Seahawks also have the stronger third-down profile in the available data, giving them a path to control possession and pull away after halftime.

Dolphins vs 49ers Pick (SF -12.5)
San Francisco’s offense offers the clearest statistical advantage in this matchup, averaging 27.0 points and 379.0 yards in the available data. The 49ers also converted 58.3% of third downs and scored on two of three red-zone opportunities, supporting the case for laying the sizable number at home.
The 49ers’ efficiency should create a difficult assignment for a Miami team with limited production in the available sample. San Francisco’s +1 turnover differential and 66.7% red-zone success provide the complementary edge needed to turn offensive superiority into a multi-score result.

Commanders vs Cowboys Pick (DAL -4.5)
Dallas delivered the more productive offense last season, averaging 27.1 points and 391.9 yards per game compared with Washington’s 20.5 points and 318.8 yards. The Cowboys’ edge on third down—41.1% to 37.6%—should help them extend drives and justify laying 4.5 points at home.
Dallas also generated more first downs and red-zone opportunities, while both teams showed turnover vulnerability. Washington’s -14 turnover differential was particularly concerning, giving the Cowboys additional short-field chances in a matchup where their offensive ceiling is already higher.

Colts vs Chiefs Pick (IND +6.5)
The Colts have enough offensive efficiency to make this number attractive, especially with more than a touchdown in hand. Indianapolis scored on all three of its red-zone opportunities in the available data and averaged 23.0 points, creating a strong foundation for an underdog that can finish drives.
Kansas City’s statistical profile is less established in the available sample, while Indianapolis has shown a clear red-zone strength despite a modest 30.0% third-down conversion rate. With the Colts capable of turning limited chances into touchdowns, IND +6.5 offers valuable cushion in what could be a tighter game than the spread suggests.

Giants vs Rams Pick (LA -7.5)
The Rams hold the more dependable offensive profile in the available data, averaging 7.0 points and 290.0 yards compared with no recorded production for the Giants. Los Angeles also owns the better third-down rate, 22.2% to 0%, making LA -7.5 the logical side despite the large spread.
The Rams’ red-zone efficiency and improving defensive trend provide additional support for the favorite. New York’s inability to sustain third downs or establish a scoring baseline leaves little margin for error, giving Los Angeles a clear path to control the game and cover.
