Odds as of April 16 from DraftKings Sportsbook

Pick 1: Islanders @ Hurricanes; Both Teams to Score Twice

While this may not be the most exciting way to lead off the parlay, it’ll provide a little boost to the final number.

Both teams scored in three of the Hurricanes last four games. For the Islanders, their last two games saw both teams score twice.

In their head-to-head season series, two matchups saw Carolina and New York score twice.

When it comes to your NHL Playoff Bracket, this is a first round matchup that’s hard to peg. But it feels like it’ll be close. We’ll take the Isles and Canes to go shot-for-shot on Monday.

Pick 2: Panthers @ Bruins; Boston -1.5

The Boston Bruins were dominant from start to finish this year. They claimed top spot in the league by more than 20 points.

Florida, meanwhile, barely made it in. If it wasn’t for a six-game winning streak down the stretch, they’re staring at the Draft Lottery instead.

Saying that the Panthers were two different teams during the season may be putting it lightly. They were a tough team to get a read on in many respects, but their home and away splits are a good place to start.

Florida was 23-13-5 at home, but 19-19-3 on the road. They allowed 3.6 goals per game on the road, scoring 3.2. Boston lost four games at home all year and allowed an eye-popping 1.8 goals per game at TD Garden.

The two tied the season series 2-2, but both of Florida’s losses came by at least two goals. Expect Boston to come out swinging on Monday night.

Pick 3: Wild @ Stars; Jason Robertson OVER 0.5 points

In just his fourth NHL season, Jason Robertson exploded. He eclipsed previous career bests in goals, assists and points.

He recorded at least a point in six of his last eight regular season games, and was only held off the scoresheet seven times after March 1st.

Robertson also recorded a point in three of the four games between the Wild and Stars this season.

After recording one point in his first four playoff games last year, Robertson scored a goal and added two assists in the final three games against the Flames.

Expect the hot streak to continue, and capitalize on an easily attainable number for one of the league’s best.

Pick 4: Kings @ Oilers; Under 6.5

The allure of McDavid and Leon Draisaitl is likely what has this total sitting at 6.5. And granted, we weren’t exactly high on the Kings’ chances to win the series. But it’s not like the Oilers blew the Kings away this season.

Edmonton won three of the four meetings. But two of those wins were within the last three weeks. The Oilers took those games 2-0 and 3-1.

Joonas Korpisalo has been a wall since coming over from Columbus. He has a .921 save percentage in 11 games, and has allowed two or fewer goals in nine of those games. That includes one of the losses against Edmonton.

Stuart Skinner has been hot lately, too.

Game 1 last year was a 4-3 Kings win. The long-term value may not be there for the Kings, but they’ll be good for a few low-scoring nail biters.
