The New Jersey Devils wrap up a busy week this evening in the desert. The Vegas Golden Knights have been a tough out on home ice this season. Puck drop is set for 6 pm ET at T-Mobile Arena.
New Jersey split a back-to-back earlier this week. Vegas snapped a three-game skid on Tuesday, and neither team has settled its crease heading into tonight.
My Devils vs Golden Knights prediction is below, along with the latest Polymarket prices and the injury news that could swing this one.

I’m backing Vegas at home for my Devils vs Golden Knights prediction. The Golden Knights are 9-4-1 overall and 6-2 at T-Mobile Arena. They’re scoring 3.57 goals per game through 14 contests.
Tuesday’s 4-1 win over Ottawa ended a three-game losing streak. The volume is there too. Vegas has 416 shots through 14 games, or about 29.7 a night.
The power play gives Vegas another way to win when 5-on-5 play gets tight. The Golden Knights have gone 11-for-43 with the man advantage, a 25.6% clip.
New Jersey (8-5) has plenty of firepower of its own. Nico Hischier has seven goals, and Jack Hughes leads the team with 14 points.
The schedule is my main reason to fade the Devils. They crushed Dallas 5-1 on Tuesday behind Connor Hellebuyck, who stopped 17 of 18 shots in his New Jersey debut. A night later, they dropped a 5-2 decision to Colorado with Jake Allen in net.
Tonight marks their third game in four nights. They’ll play it on the road against a team that has lost just twice at home.
My one worry is the Vegas penalty kill. It’s sitting at 67.6% and has allowed a power-play goal in six straight games. If the Golden Knights keep giving New Jersey chances, this gets uncomfortable fast.
Even so, I’d rather back the better home team at close to even money. Vegas on the moneyline is my lone Devils vs Golden Knights pick for this matchup, and I’m buying it at 52¢.
Devils vs Golden Knights Odds
Polymarket has the Devils vs Golden Knights odds close to a coin flip, with Vegas a slight home favorite. Here’s how the Friday NHL odds look across the main markets.
Vegas costs 52¢ to win, which works out to roughly a 52% implied chance. New Jersey sits at 49¢. The two sides add up to 101¢, so those aren’t vig-free numbers, but the market clearly expects a tight game.
Each contract pays $1 if it hits, so a 52¢ Vegas share returns 48¢ in profit. If you want a bigger payout, Vegas -1.5 costs 31¢, about a 31% implied shot at a win by two or more.
The total is 6.5, with the Under at 55¢ and the Over at 47¢. Traders are leaning toward a lower-scoring game.

Devils vs Golden Knights Injuries and Goalie News
Neither team had confirmed a starter when this Devils vs Golden Knights preview was prepared. New Jersey used Hellebuyck on Tuesday and Allen on Wednesday, so either one could get the call.
Vegas has its own decision to make. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Carter Hart returned to practice Thursday and could play against the Devils. Adin Hill is the other option if Hart isn’t ready.
Devils defenseman Seamus Casey is out with a knee injury. Vegas will be without Victor Olofsson and Parker Wotherspoon.
Goalie news could move these prices, so check back closer to puck drop before you buy.
