  • The Jets visit the Canadiens at the Bell Centre on Tuesday, one of 11 games on the NHL slate
  • I’m targeting three shots on goal props from this matchup, and one already beats my target price
  • Keep reading for my best NHL player props for Nov. 3, plus the price I need on each one

Winnipeg and Montreal meet Tuesday at 7 pm ET, part of an 11-game NHL slate on Nov. 3. I’m skipping the sides and total here and focusing on shot volume.

Player shot markets were still filling in as of Monday. The BetMGM Jets–Canadiens board showed game markets but no player-shot props, so not every price below is live yet.

Here are my best NHL player props for tonight, along with the number I’d need before betting each one.

Best NHL Player Props Today: Nov. 3

PlayerPickMy TargetCurrent Price (Nov. 2)
Kyle ConnorOver 3.5 Shots on Goal-120 or better+110 (FanDuel)
Cole CaufieldOver 3.5 Shots on Goal-115 or betterNot verified
Neal PionkOver 1.5 Shots on Goal-140 or better-168 (FanDuel)

Only Connor’s price currently beats my target. Pionk is too expensive right now, and I haven’t verified a current price for Caufield’s over. Keep an eye on all three in your NHL betting apps before puck drop.

FanDuel quotes via PuckAPI, checked Nov. 2. Target prices are my own betting thresholds, not posted lines.

Jets vs Canadiens Shots on Goal Picks

Kyle Connor Shots on Goal Prop

Connor is the one bet I’d place right now. FanDuel has his over at +110, about a 47.6% implied chance, which beats my -120 target.

His last outing wasn’t a big one: Connor had two shots on goal on Nov. 1, half of Pionk’s four. That gives me some pause.

Still, I think he gets back to volume Tuesday, and plus money gives me room to take that risk. I’d keep betting it down to -120.

Cole Caufield Shots on Goal Prop

  • Cole Caufield Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (target: -115 or better)

This is my riskiest pick of the three, and the numbers show why. Caufield has stayed under four shots in four straight games, going 2, 3, 3 and 0 since Oct. 25. The zero came against these same Jets.

He had four shots on Oct. 23, but his last five games add up to 12 shots, or 2.4 per game. The market is leaning the other way too, with his under listed at -156 (a 60.9% implied chance) and no over quote verified in the comparison board.

I’m betting on a bounce-back at home, but that’s my read, not a trend his recent numbers support. I’ll only play the over at -115 or better.

Neal Pionk Shots on Goal Prop

  • Neal Pionk Over 1.5 Shots on Goal (target: -140 or better)

I’m turning to the Winnipeg blueline to wrap up my NHL player props. Pionk has two or more shots on goal in seven straight games, including three against Montreal on Oct. 25.

He has 22 shots in that span, about 3.1 per game, with four in each of his last three games. The trend is the best of the three picks.

The price is the problem. FanDuel has his over at -168, a 62.7% implied chance, well past my -140 target (58.3%). I’d wait for the number to come down before betting it.
