Total times “Trump” is said by candidates Over 25.5 coronavirus (-150) Under 25.5 coronavirus (+110)

Odds taken Mar. 13.

Naturally, the coronavirus, the stock market and President Donald Trump are all expected to be on the tip of both candidates’ tongues.

You Don’t Say

Bending the truth and politicians go together like cake and ice cream. It’s a natural combination.

Interestingly, sportsbooks have taken the over on Biden non-facts off the table. Bettors can only play the under, and the total bar is set at two. Best to stay away from this wager.

Over three non-facts by Sanders is set at -120. He’s been playing this game all his adult life. Sanders is sure to go over that total.

Pick: Sanders over 3 non-facts (-120)

Coronavirus Plays Into Sanders’ Hands

Sanders has built his campaigns for the Presidency around Medicare For All. Thanks to the outbreak of the coronavirus, he has the public’s attention.

To Sanders, the coronavirus is a hanging curveball. He’ll be hammering it out of the park on every pitch.

Biden also isn’t going to shy away from discussion of the virus. It’s the most talked-about topic in the world at the moment. And Trump’s mishandling of the entire situation served up a chance for both candidates to batter away at a President who badly fumbled his first major crisis.

Playing the over here will be the easiest money you’ll make on a wager in a long time.

Pick Over 8.5 (-120)

Odds Bernie Sanders References Joe Biden’s Auto-Worker Rant

Outcome Odds
No -200
Yes +150

Sanders won’t gain anything from bringing up Biden’s exchange with a Detroit auto worker over gun control. Had it any negative impact, Biden wouldn’t have whipped Sanders so soundly in the Michigan primary.

In left-leaning circles, pundits are viewing this exchange as a positive outcome for the Biden camp.

Sanders is best to just leave it alone.

Pick: No (-200).

Odds to Win Biden vs Sanders Debate

Candidate Odds
Bernie Sanders -120
Joe Biden OFF

Note: Decision based on CNN’s Chris Cillizza’s verdict.

There’s a long-held theory is sports that you should back the team that needs the win the most. In this case, that’s Sanders.

His campaign is running on fumes. He desperately needs a big night.

Fortunately for him, in the coronavirus, he’s blessed with a topic that perfectly fits his Medicare For All narrative.

Pick: Bernie Sanders (-120)
