The last time the Jets enjoyed a winning campaign was during the Barack Obama administration. They were 10-6 in 2015.

The last time the 0-8 Jets won a football game, Trump was favored to win the Presidency. He was the -110 chalk on Dec. 29 when New York’s AFC team closed out the 2019 season with a 13-6 win over the Buffalo Bills. At that time, Biden was a +630 underdog.

As far as the Jets are concerned, they’ve got a real shot at posting their first win tonight. Sure, they’re 9.5-point underdogs at home against the New England Patriots. That being said, the Pats are 2-5. They’ve lost four in a row and five of their last six.

Next week, the Jets got to LA to face the 2-6 Chargers. The Chargers have lost six of seven. Their only wins this season are against the 1-7 Jacksonville Jaguars and the 2-5-1 Cincinnati Bengals.

Steelers Are Crushing It

Perhaps when Trump promised to bring the steel mills back, what he meant to say was he was bringing the Steelers back. The last time 8-0 Pittsburgh was this good, the Steelers were headed toward their fourth Super Bowl title in six years.

Recent wins saw the Steelers surviving a trio of close calls. There were a pair of three-point verdicts over the Titans and Ravens. Sunday, Pittsburgh needed a late touchdown to win 24-19 at Dallas.

With upcoming games against the Bengals and Jaguars, Pittsburgh doesn’t figure to be losing anytime soon. then again, Trump doesn’t figure to be conceding the election anytime soon, either.

Trump Won’t Make Concessions

Recently, there’s been reports that Trump’s wife Melania and son-in-law Jared Kushner sought to impress upon him that it’s time to concede. Instead, Monday, the President fired Mark Esper, his Secretary of Defense. He continues to tweet out fallacies that the election will be turning in his favor any day now.

He’s not going to concede. He won’t go peacefully into that goodnight. Trump will continue railing on about fake votes as security is escorting him from the White House.
