  • NASCAR AdventHealth 400 takes place this Sunday from the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, KS
  • Kyle Larson won the pole and is a heavy favorite to win the race, too
  • Below, see my NASCAR AdventHealth 400 expert predictions, picks, and betting odds

The NASCAR Cup Series carries on into Kansas for the twelfth points event this Sunday, May 11th, at the AdventHealth 400. The green flag drops just after 3:00 pm ET, with live coverage on FS1 and the Fox Sports App. In-car cams and multi-views will stream on MAX.

Kansas Speedway is a 1.5-mile tri-oval track where execution comes amid chaos. Everything happens a little faster with lap times running in the 29.4 to 30 second range. The stage setup is 80-85-102. It is the type of race that averages around seven or eight cautions normally. Projections are concerned about seeing 10 or more yellow flags on Sunday.

The table below details the AdventHealth 400 odds (winner, top three, and top five) for the favorites and some racers who may surprise. Under the table, I have set out my AdventHealth 400 predictions and prime picks.

NASCAR AdventHealth 400 Predictions

The weather shines on this Mother’s Day with temperatures around 80-85 degrees. Qualifying felt almost predictable as Kyle Larson took the pole by 0.057 seconds over Chris Buescher and 0.074 seconds over Christopher Bell. Last week’s winner, Joey Logano, will start fifth just behind Tyler Reddick.

This Spring race offers a bit of a dilemma. There have been no back-to-back winners. Granted, the Spring version has only been around since 2011. There are multiple time winners with Denny Hamlin (3) leading the way.

The track features 17-20 degree banking on the turns. The frontstretch and backstretch have 10 and five degrees of banking. It feels fast with a mix of chaos and daring passes dangling at every bend.

Bettors hope for no overtime and while Larson (17.2% laps led since 2022) has been unbelievable here along with Hamlin, one expects a twist ending. Chris Buescher and Christopher Bell may just lead the way.

Again, this race can be crazy. Larson won by 0.001 seconds over Buescher last year. Buescher wants revenge and has a good chance of serving that cold dish Sunday.

More AdventHealth 400 Expert Picks

Do you want more race props? Sure, we all do. Sadly, there are no good caution props this week. However, Ford at +240 as winning manfacturer feels like a trap and yet drivers like Buescher, Logano, and Blaney have a chance. Among driver matchups, but Christopher Bell (+120) over Denny Hamlin catches some eyes. Bell is fast at Kansas but must avoid the wall. This could be a mild upset. Bell at +115 could even topple Tyler Reddick here. However, Bell at +360 as Top Toyota is the ticket.

With driver groups, shop around. DraftKings has Bubba Wallace in Group 3 at +250 over Kyle Busch, Ross Chastain, and Brad Keselowski. Wallace won the Fall race in 2022 and starts Sunday in 15th.
