Simone Inzaghi’s men sit in second place and a whole 13 points behind Napoli in first. Lazio, Atalanta, and AC Milan are just two points back of Inter, though. Sunday’s outcome could change things in a hurry. The side comes into this fixture in good form and just progressed to the Coppa Italia semifinals after a 1-0 victory over Atalanta on Tuesday, with Matteo Darmian scoring in the second half. Inzaghi appears to have a full-strength squad to choose from in the derby as well, which is fantastic news.

Last time out, Sassuolo ran riot on the Milan backline, firing five past backup keeper Ciprian Tatarusanu. With Mike Maignan still out, the Romanian will be the choice in between the sticks again on Sunday. Defensively, Fikayo Tomori, who is key, still remains out with injury, while Ismael Bennacer is unavailable in the middle of the pitch.
