While world soccer remains in shutdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic, speculation continues over big money moves for the world’s top players. As a result, sportsbooks have opened a series of props on where these players will end up on September 1, 2020. We’ve taken a look at these and have offered some analysis and picks.
Note: These odds assume the player will move.
Erling Håland To Sign For Before September 1st 2020 – Odds
Team | Odds |
---|---|
Real Madrid | +175 |
Barcelona | +600 |
Manchester United | +750 |
Liverpool | +1000 |
Paris Saint-Germain | +1000 |
Odds taken on Mar 28.
Håland has only been at Borussia Dortmund for a few months – he signed with them in January from RB Leipzig – but in that short time he’s been nothing short of sensational; scoring nine goals in his eight games and putting in some outstanding performances in the Champions League. As a result, he’s already on the radar of the European giants.

The 19-year-old Norwegian will, at some point, play for one of the Galacticos but Dortmund will be doing everything they can to ensure they get at least a season-and-a-half out of their January signing. They, however, have a tough job on their hands over the summer to fight off the overtures of Real Madrid. With Zidane being handed what’s rumored to be a record-breaking transfer pot, they may just make BvB an offer they can’t refuse.
Pick: Real Madrid (+175)
Gabriel Jesus To Sign For Before September 1st 2020 – Odds
Team | Odds |
---|---|
Real Madrid | +750 |
Barcelona | +1400 |
Paris Saint-Germain | +2200 |
Bayern Munich | +2500 |
Juventus | +4000 |
Manchester United | +10000 |
Jesus has been excellent in his time at Man City and, despite playing second fiddle to Sergio Aguero, has maintained an impressive goals-per-game ratio of better than one in three. Unsurprisingly, rumors of him departing the Etihad in search of regular first-XI soccer have been virtually non-stop over the last couple of seasons.
Take care of yourselves, your families and stay safe! 💙

A summer departure for the Brazilian is quite plausible, even more so after the agent who facilitated his move to Manchester City said “anything is possible” when questioned on rumors of Jesus moving to Juventus. So, don’t be surprised to see him end up in Turin next season.
Pick: Juventus +4000
Harry Kane To Sign For Before September 1st 2020 – Odds
Team | Odds |
---|---|
Real Madrid | +450 |
Manchester United | +550 |
Barcelona | +1200 |
Manchester City | +1400 |
Bayern Munich | +1600 |
Liverpool | +2500 |
Juventus | +3300 |
“He’s one of our own” sing the Tottenham fans when Harry Kane scores yet another goal, but for how much longer? The Spurs youth product has been top scorer for club and country for the last five seasons and, as a result, is one of the hottest properties in world soccer. While regarded as Spurs through and through, when Kane was interviewed by ESPN last year he commented that he’d be very happy to stay at Spurs for life unless the club starts going backwards.

So, with Tottenham currently on a downward curve, a move away from north London isn’t out of the question and, for me, the value here is very much with a potential move to Liverpool at a juicy +2500. While he may be tempted abroad, a move to the north-west of England looks more likely.
Pick: Liverpool +2500
Kylian Mbappe To Sign For Before September 1st 2020 – Odds
Team | Odds |
---|---|
Real Madrid | +350 |
Manchester City | +1200 |
Liverpool | +1400 |
Barcelona | +3300 |
Juventus | +6600 |
Manchester United | +10000 |
Bayern Munich | +15000 |
Borussia Dortmund | +20000 |
Mbappe has been sensational for PSG since signing from Monaco and his upward trajectory has made him a target for the big two in Spain, as well as Man City and Liverpool. Only the extreme financial clout of PSG’s owners has kept him at PSG this long, along with their desire to retain a squad good enough to win the Champions League. But to date, that’s not happened.
Real Madrid 'ready to step up' Kylian Mbappe transfer push amid Liverpool interest.
Madrid are reportedly preparing a massive offer to try to bring PSG star Mbappe whose contract expires in June 2022 to the Bernabeu when the transfer window eventually re-opens.

With Karim Benzema approaching the twilight of his career, Real Madrid will be looking for a long-term replacement and Mbappe may well be that player.
Pick: Real Madrid (+350)
Paul Pogba To Sign For Before September 1st 2020 – Odds
Team | Odds |
---|---|
Real Madrid | +175 |
Juventus | +400 |
PSG | +500 |
Barcelona | +1200 |
Any MLS club | +2000 |
Manchester City | +3000 |
Pogba’s second spell at Manchester United – he originally joined United’s academy in 2009 prior to signing with Juventus – has been plagued by injury and controversy. Rumors of a move away have been a constant throughout his second spell at Old Trafford, in particular when he had a very public falling out with former boss Jose Mourinho. While his relationship with Ole Gunnar Solkjaer has been fine, his availability due to injury has been very limited.

A move away from Manchester looks as if it may be the desirable outcome for both parties and, for me, a return to Juve will be the most likely destination.
Pick: Juventus (+400)
Raheem Sterling To Sign For Before September 1st 2020 – Odds
Team | Odds |
---|---|
Real Madrid | +700 |
Paris St-Germain | +1600 |
Barcelona | +2500 |
Juventus | +2500 |
Barcelona | +3300 |
Chelsea | +3300 |
Arsenal | +5000 |
Manchester United | +6600 |
Liverpool | +10000 |
Liverpool fans have never forgiven Sterling for making the move to Man City, so we can rule out a move back to Anfield, but it’s not inconceivable this season could have been his last at the Etihad. The England international is ambitious and may see a move to Spain as his best chance of winning a Champions League winners medal.

On that basis, the value here is with Barcelona for whom Sterling’s style of play would be a very good fit.
Pick: Barcelona (+2500)
