While Inter Milan’s 11-match winning streak came to an end on Sunday (1-1 Napoli), their undefeated streak is now 15 and they still lead in the title race by nine points over second-place AC Milan, who defeated Genoa 2-1 on the weekend. Inter will meet 14th-placed Spezia on Wednesday who are coming off a 4-1 loss at Bologna.

Most of the league will play on Wednesday, where seven games will take place, but the most intriguing matches will take place on Thursday, with Roma vs Atalanta and Napoli vs Lazio, all teams within the top seven.

Crotone vs Sampdoria Prediction

Sitting at the foot of the table, 20th-place Crotone will host tenth-place Sampdoria at 2:45 pm EST Wednesday on Serie A Matchday 32.

There’s little doubt Crotone is going down, but they are at least going down fighting. They ship goals like crazy, 79 goals in 31 matches, but their 38 goals scored rank better than five other sides in Serie A.

Crotone have obviously lost a lot—five-straight after Saturday’s 2-1 loss against Udinese, and 15 losses in their past 17. But, they’ve scored in each of their past seven, totalling 15 goals in that span, over two-goals-per-game.

The desperation has set in and they have nothing to lose but to go down swinging and that has resulted in some exciting scorelines: 2-1, 3-2, 4-3, 3-2, 3-2, 4-2 and 5-1 in those past seven.

If anyone is worth a bet as an anytime scorer in this match it’s Crotone’s Simy at +215 odds. The Nigerian scored from a PK on the weekend and has now scored in his past seven matches, tallying ten times.

In tenth place, way out of contention for Europe, and way above the relegation zone, Sampdoria are in a similar but different position. They too, have no reason but to come out and play freely, however, maintaining a spot in the top-half of the table will surely be a goal of Claudio Ranieri for Samp.

Given Crotone’s form, Sampdoria are rightly favored. But they’ve also conceded a goal in 14 fo their 15 road dates this season. A fiesty Crotone side can be expected to find the back of the net on Wednesday as well.

When these teams met back in December it was a 3-1 home win for Sampdoria.

Crotone are 24-7 to OVER 2.5 totals this year, while Sampdoria is 19-12. It’s hard to predict anything other than goals in this match. Sampdoria to score OVER 1.5 is priced at -129, OVER 2.5 total goals is -155 and both teams to score is -177. Both scoring and OVER 2.5 is also -110 at Bet365.

Meanwhile, given Crotone’s poor form, Sampdoria to win and both teams scoring would return the best value at +250 at DraftKings.

Pick: Sampdoria to Win + Both Teams to Score (+250)

Roma vs Atalanta Prediction

Roma came out of the gates fast against Torino on Sunday, scoring three minutes into the match. But from then on it was an onslaught of Torino attacks. Torino held the edge in attempts, 23-9, shots on goal, 11-4, corners 11-3 and eventually the edge in the final score, 3-1.

Roma were coming off a Thursday night Europa League match with Ajax, so some fatigue could be expected. They’ll now face a quick turnaround against third-place Atalanta on Serie A Matchday 32 on Thursday at 12:30 pm EST.

Atalanta’s match versus Juventus on Sunday looked all but ready to end in a nil-nil draw. However, Ruslan Malinovskyi’s 87′ minute shot took a deflection and found the back of the net to give La Dea a last-gasp win. It was their fifth-straight win and ninth in their past ten matches. Their lone defeat came away to Inter.

The title is still a very likely out of reach, but second place Milan are just two points above La Dea, while they’ve opened up a four-point lead over fifth-place Napoli for Champions League places. It will now be Juventus who are checking their rearview mirrors at the chasing pack which includes Napoli, Lazio and to a lesser extent Roma.

Atalanta ran wild versus Roma earlier this season with a 4-1 win. They were also 2-1 and 2-0 winners last season. The year prior, the teams drew 3-3 on both meetings. Atalanta is now undefeated versus Roma in six matches and have scored multiple goals (16 total) in those six.

Matches against top-ranked sides have not been kind to Roma this season. They are a miserable 0-5-6 (WDL) versus teams in the top eight. This match should feature goals. But a bet on a straight Atalanta win or on La Dea’s team total also looks good.

Pick: Atalanta Team Total Over 1.5 (-148)

Napoli vs Lazio Prediction

Serie A Matchday 32 concludes with Napoli hosting Lazio at 2:45 pm EST Thursday afternoon.

Both sides are coming off strong weekend showings, with Napoli holding title-leaders Inter to a 1-1 draw and Lazio putting up five on Benevento in a 5-3 win. This match has huge implications for the Champions League places with Napoli sitting fifth with 60 points and two back of Juventus for fourth. Meanwhile, Lazio are sixth with 58 points and have now won five-straight, outscoring their opponents 12-7.

Earlier this season Lazio won 2-0, the fifth-straight home win between these teams. Last year each won at home in the league, Lazio 1-0 and Napoli 3-1, while Napoli also won 1-0 at home in the Coppa Italia.

There’s too much firepower on the field to not expect goals from both sides. Napoli have scored a goal in 19-straight Serie A matches. While Lazio has scored in 25 of their past 26 in the league.

But really, neither side can really afford to drop points to the other given their places in the table. At home, Napoli have conceded just 15 goals in 15 matches. They too though, recently conceded three to a lower-ranked opponent, a 4-3 win over Crotone in Round 30.

Both should score in this match (-167) and someone may in fact find a third. However, over the past five rounds these two are a combined 8-1-1 and this could have the makings of a scored draw.

Pick: Draw + Both Teams to Score (+350)
