  • The US Open main draw action begins on Monday, August 30th
  • The fourth quarter looks to be the tightest of them all
  • Continue below for our breakdown of each quarter, and who’s the best bet to come out on top

The fourth and final Grand Slam of the year is here, and it has all the makings for an exciting couple weeks on both the men and women’s side here at the US Open. The draws are out, and main draw play begins on Monday, but with a 128-player draw, let’s take a look at each quarter.

Ashleigh Barty, Karolina Pliskova, Naomi Osaka, and Aryna Sabalenka all have the shortest odds to win their quarter, but where’s the best bet?

Take a look below at all four quarters’ odds and our best bet analysis of who will come out on top.

All odds as of August 28th at DraftKings

With +180 odds, Barty leads the way in the first quarter, and that’s no surprise. The World No. 1 has been incredible all year. The 25-year old has won a total of five titles just this year, and has won them on hard, clay, and grass surfaces.

Olympic gold medalist Belinda Bencic could be one to watch in this quarter. She has been playing really well as of late, and will be riding high on confidence and momentum coming into this Grand Slam

Barty is the expected player to come out of the quarter, and she’s the easy bet to go with here

Best Bet: Barty (+125)

Longer Shot: Bencic (+700)

US Open Women’s Second Quarter Odds

Player Odds
[4] Karolina Pliskova +300
[24] Paula Badosa Gibert +500
[6] Bianca Andreescu +550
[10] Petra Kvitova +600
[17] Maria Sakkari +700
[14] Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova +800
[27] Jelena Ostapenko +1400
Amanda Anisimova +1600
[30] Petra Martic +2200
Katerina Siniakova +2500
Marta Kostyuk +2800
Liudmila Samsonova +3500
Ajla Tomljanovic +2500
Lauren Davis +4000
Viktorija Golubic +4000

21-year old Bianca Andreescu might be the talk of this quarter. The last time the Canadian participated in the US Open, she won it all. But unfortunately Andreescu has had an ongoing battle with some serious injuries that has not aloud her to compete as much as she would have liked.

Favorite to come out of this quarter with +300 odds, Karolina Pliskova, has a first-round match that shouldn’t be too difficult for her as she looks to face Caty McNally of the United States. It could get more difficult come the second round, but Pliskova might not really get tested until the third round.

Best Bet: Pliskova (+300)

Longer Shot: Sakkari (+700)

US Open Women’s Third Quarter Odds

Player Odds
[2] Naomi Osaka +160
[21] Cori Gauff +600
[19] Elena Rybakina +850
[12] Simona Halep +900
[16] Angelique Kerber +900
[5] Elina Svitolina +900
Marketa Vondrousova +1100
Camila Giorgi +1600
[25] Daria Kasatkina +2500
Madison Keys +2500
Sloane Stephens +2800
Leylah Fernandez +3500
Caroline Garcia +4000
Ann Li +5000
Anhelina Kalinina +5000

This is an interesting quarter given the uncertainties around Osaka, but how much of a favorite she is to come out on top here.

The 23-year old will be looking to defend her 2020 title, but her mental health has been a big priority this year, with tennis taking a bit of a backseat. Her draw is a bit tricky, and she doesn’t have the most straightforward route. She’ll open up against Marie Bouzkova, but could face Angelique Kerber of Coco Gauff in the fourth round.

A statistic that sides with Osaka is that she has never lost a Grand Slam once she has reached the quarterfinals. She, like many top players reserve themselves for the Slams, so we’ll have to see what Osaka has left.

Gauff and Simona Halep are two player that could make this quarter very interesting, especially if there is that fourth round match between Guaff and Osaka.

Best Bet: Osaka (+160)

Longer Shot: Gauff (+600)

US Open Women’s Fourth Quarter Odds

Player Odds
[2] Aryna Sabalenka +300
[8] Barbora Krejcikova +350
[9] Garbine Muguruza +600
[26] Danielle Collins +600
[18] Victoria Azarenka +800
[20] Ons Jabeur +800
[15] Elise Mertens +1000
Johanna Konta +1400
[32] Ekaterina Alexandrova +2800
Donna Vekic +2800
Irina Begu +5000
Anna Blinkova +5000
Tamara Zidansek +5000
Maria Camila Osorio Serrano +5000
Bernarda Pera +5000

This might be the tightest quarter out of all four. Many players here are all on the same level, making it no easy task to predict who will come out on top.

The newly ranked World No. 2, Aryna Sabalenka leads the group with +300 odds, followed by Barbora Krejcikova with +350. I would say expect that to be the quarterfinal we see come from this group of players, but it’s hard to call.

Danielle Collins is one who could cause some damage here. Collins has a lot of experience, and has been on an absolute tear these past couple of months. Specifically after coming back from surgery.

Sabalenka looks to be the safe bet here, but a longer shot could be Collins. The two will most likely play each other in the third round.

Best Bet: Sabalenka (+300)

Longer Shot: Collins (+600)
