The odds for the four Game 2 contests are very similar to how they looked ahead of each Game 1 matchup last week, with almost every game having spreads of double-digits or near double-digits with the exception of the Washington and Seattle game. Las Vegas once again is the biggest favorite against Phoenix, listed as heavy 17-point favorites in Game 2. In the final game of the four that will take place, Seattle is just 3.5-point favorites over Washington.

Liberty Aim to Upset, Aces Look to Continue Dominance

The first night of action will include one game that features New York trying to complete another upset over Chicago, along with Las Vegas aiming to continue its dominance at home against Phoenix.

Liberty vs Sky Pick

To begin play on the two-night slate, the seventh-seed Liberty look to make it two upset victories in a row over the second-seed Sky, who claimed the WNBA title a season ago. The game will tip off at 12pm ET on ESPN.

New York stole Game 1 on the road Thursday night in Chicago, overmatching the Sky 98-91 in a tough playing environment. The Liberty, which ended the first game scoring the final 13 points to come from behind and beat the Sky, are now trying to steal a second straight road game to complete a sweep. Chicago will try to avoid an early postseason collapse to force a Game 3 in Brooklyn this week.

For the best bet of the game, go with the over on the total listed of 169 points. These two teams combined to score 189 points in Game 1, so they should be able to cover that line in place.

  • Pick: Over 169.0 (-110)

Mercury vs Aces Pick

To round out the first night, the top-seeded Aces are going to try and continue to showcase their dominance at home against the eighth-seed Mercury, a game that will take place at 9pm ET on ESPN2.

Las Vegas, the top team in the 2022 WNBA Championship odds, took it to a short-handed Phoenix squad in Game 1 for a 79-63 victory. The Aces saw an even spread of production from their starters in the win, with three players scoring in double-figures. The Mercury, on the other hand, will continue to be without Diana Taurasi (quad) and Skylar Diggins-Smith (personal reasons), and are now also without Shey Peddy who suffered a ruptured Achilles in Game 1.

For the best bet of this contest, keep an eye on the spread listed of 17 points. Las Vegas should be able to take this game with relative ease, but 17 points is a tough mark to cover against any opponent.

  • Pick: Mercury +17.0 (-110)

Sun, Storm Strive to Complete Sweeps

On the second night of action, both Connecticut and Seattle will attempt to defend home court and complete two-game series sweeps over Dallas and Washington.

Wings vs Sun Pick

To begin play Sunday, the third-seed Sun are looking to complete a 2-0 series sweep at home against the short-handed sixth-seed Wings, a game that tips off at 12pm ET on ABC.

Connecticut came away with the largest margin of victory of any team in Game 1, blowing out Dallas 93-68. The Sun looked impressive with having five players score in double-figures, while the Wings struggled to make it a contest without their star Arike Ogunbowale (hip) out for this entire series.

For the best bet to place money on, go with Dallas and it being 11.5-point underdogs. This game should be a much closer game than in Game 1, meaning the Wings could put up a fight and make this game closer than 11.5 points.

  • Pick: Dallas +11.5 (-110)

Mystics vs Storm Pick

One of the more exciting matchups of the first round continues in Game 2 when fourth-seed Seattle and fifth-seed Washington battle at 4pm ET on ESPN. The Storm attempt to defend home court once again and sweep the Mystics to advance to the second round.

In Game 1, Washington looked on its way to a road victory until Seattle went on a huge run to end the game and come away with an 86-83 win. Jewell Loyd lifted the Storm down the stretch in the victory, scoring 12 of her 16 points in the final five minutes. The Mystics, led by Elena Delle Donne, did all they could to hold off Seattle but couldn’t do it long enough to take the first game.

For the best bet in this Game 2 showdown, pick the under on the total listed of 160.5 points. The two teams combined for 169 points in Game 1, but that total should be lower than that in the second game with both teams having top-three defenses in the WNBA.

  • Pick: Under 160.5 (-110)
