Here were the biggest winners in the DROY odds after Week 7:

  • Dillon Thieneman: the highly-athletic linebacker for the Commanders recorded 13 total tackles and one pass defensed against the 49ers in Week 6. He continues to be all over the field making plays for Washington’s defense. He saw his odds improve from +1000 to +875 after the performance.

And these were the biggest losers:

  • Jacob Rodriguez: the Dolphins linebacker had his quietest game of his young career, recording a single solo tackle and three assisted tackles. This resulted in his odds fading slightly from +414 to +588.

NFL DROY Odds Notable Line Movement Updates

  • [October 13] After Bailey recorded a three-sack game against the Browns in Week 5, he took back over as the favorite to win DROY.
  • [September 29] With Bailey struggling to provide consistent value off the edge in New York, Jacob Rodriguez, who has been racking up tons of tackles in Miami, took over as the new favorite to win DROY after Week 3.
  • [September 15] David Bailey recorded a sack and four tackles in Week 1, which led to him becoming the new favorite to win DROY.
  • [August 1] Rueben Bain overtook David Bailey as the new favorite to win NFL DROY. With no specific news to point to for the minor shift in each player’s odds, it’s very likely this was just the result of money.
  • [April 22] David Bailey, who was not expected to be the first defender selected in the 2026 NFL Draft at this time, opened as the favorite to win NFL DROY for the 2026-27 season. Arvell Reese, who was given the best odds to be the first defender taken, only had the fifth-best odds at opening, falling behind Bailey, Rueben Bain Jr, Caleb Downs, and Sonny Styles.
